Ben woke up dizzy, with a slight headache. He looked around in confusion. This was his bed, but everything felt weird and different. His head felt oddly heavy, and he realized that his hair was really long. He reached up to touch it and jumped back when he saw his hand. It was small and feminine, with polished nails that were chipped in a few places. She gasped, then gasped again at the sound of her voice. She was... Amanda? No, that wasn't right. She was Ben. He was Ben.

Suddenly it all came flooding back to him. He was - her? Amanda couldn't really process this. How was this happening? She stumbled up and walked out of the bedroom.

In the kitchen, Ben was sitting at the island with a cup of coffee, looking at his phone. When he heard her come in he looked up and smiled. "Morning! How are you feeling?"

She grabbed her head. "I'm... I don't know. I'm really mixed up, Ben. What happened last night?"

Ben sighed and put his phone down. He walked over to her and took her hand. "Listen, why don't you sit down. This is going to be hard to explain." How... how was Ben talking to him? He was Ben! She didn't understand, but she let himself be led to the couch and gently pushed into a sitting position.

"Ok, Ben. Do you remember that weird little device you got? The identity thing?"

Her head swam. "Identity thing? What are you talking about, Ben? I- I do! I remember it! Did I use it or something?"

Ben (the other Ben?) patted his hand. "You did, buddy. Or more accurately, I did. It worked! Kind of. You're, uh, in Amanda's body right now."

He didn't understand. "But I am Amanda! I guess. I'm Ben too? What's going on?" He looked down, marveling at her lithe body. He'd fantasized about seeing it naked for years, and yet she'd seen it naked thousands of times. What was she thinking?

"Amanda, Ben. Look at me." Ben suddenly sounded commanding. "You are Amanda. You are Ben. You are both Amanda and Ben at once. You need to understand that or we're never going to get anywhere." He grabbed her shoulders and looked into her eyes. "You are Amanda and you are Ben. You are Ben and you are Amanda."

That couldn't be right. "But-"

"You are Amanda. You are Ben."

She shook his head. "I-"

"You. Are. Amanda. You. Are. Ben."

He closed his mouth and tried to think. Who am I? He was Amanda. She was Ben. They were both. "I'm Amanda. And Ben."

The other Ben relaxed. "Good. That's better. Now, for simplicity's sake, I'm going to call you Abby. Abby as in AB - Amanda/Ben. Do you mind if I use she/her pronouns?"

Abby looked down at her body. "I guess with these tits, you might as well. But you can call me whatever you want, I'm still two people."

Ben sighed. "This is going to be a lot harder than I thought."

Abby agreed. She thought back to her fantasies of hooking up with Amanda while Ben was- "Hey, wait a minute! Were you gonna use this to have sex with me?" She paused with confusion. "No, it's not like that, it's- ughh. I can't believe you - I - was gonna..." Her eyes swam briefly. "You... you did this to me!"

Ben shrugged. "So did you. You're as responsible as I am here, since we're both Ben."

Abby struggled. "I mean, yes, but I also had nothing to do with it! I trusted you! Why would you do this to me?"
