A secret event

If Rachel noticed Mitchell and Tanya's arrival, she didn't acknowledge it until she finished her conversation with a tall, greasy raincoat wearing man in an ill-fitting Fedora hat. Instead, she let Tanya and Mitchell stand by her, growing increasingly embarrassed by their outfits, while she finished telling the fedora-clad man about how wrong he was on the latest Star Trek movie.

He wasn't obvious the man was following the latter half of Rachel's argument, as he was too busy staring wide-eyed at the two submissive guests while Rachel finished up airily stating her own views.

Finally, with a sense of satisfaction that she'd destroyed his argument, she turned and dismissed him from the conversation, pivoting her attentions to Mitchell and Tanya.

"Ah, you're finally here. You're late!" she said, primly.

They were exactly on time, but neither one of them challenged Rachel on that accusation. Instead, they both apologized and asked to be punished, which was exactly what Rachel had trained them to do.

Rachel waved away their apologies and requests thought, and continued speaking.

"Well, I'm in a good mood tonight anyway! And I've got some good news for you. Wonderful news in fact! We've got a special event lined up for you both tonight, very special, very meaningful, and I've even arranged more appropriate clothing for you to wear."

She looked at Tanya and Mitchell critically, staring at their travel outfits.

"Yes, those clothes simply won't do for this party..."

Mitchell and Tanya nodded in submissive acknowledgment.

"So, go upstairs and get changed... oh, and I've written something for you to say as well... make sure you memorize it and be prepared... you don't want to mess this up!"

Mitchell and Tanya both gulped at that, but didn't say a word. They stood there for a few seconds longer, wondering if Rachel would add further instructions. Instead, the woman simply stared back at them like they were both dense children who needed to have things repeated to.

"Well, go on then!" she said, "I haven't got all night! We'll start in 30 minutes, so go now, get changed, and start memorizing your lines!" She shook her head as if in disappointment, before adding under her breath "Honestly, good help is so hard to find these days!"
