Rooming with Diana, single bed

The next day, me and Diana decided to take a more scenic drive. Because of this, when we stopped for the night, her family had already decided room assignments. I went to the front desk to see what was available and it turned out that there was only one room left.

"Only one room. It's probably twin beds." I said to her and handed her one of the room keys.

"Guess we'll find out." She replied, slightly blushing.

Well I was wrong. As I opened the door, we looked in and saw just one queen size bed.

"I'll take the floor." I said.

"What? No. That bed is big enough that we can share and not have any issues."

"You sure?"

She nodded as we moved our bags inside. Once settled, I volunteered to go get us some food. "Okay, I might be in the pool when you get back."

I headed down the street to one of the local fast food places. I had my earbuds in to listen to music on the walk. It's because of this that things happened the way they did.
