Teaching troubled young adults
For her first teaching assignment April was going to be teaching a GED program for students who didn't graduate high school in time. Not her choice assignment, but the new girl takes what she can get.
"Good luck." The Principal said with a shake of his head.
He knew she was in for a difficult time. There were a few reasons for this. First, all these students were 18 or older. They were already adults, and much harder to control because of it. Also most of them hadn't graduated because they'd gotten in trouble. Suspension, expelled, even some legal trouble. It was a lot for a new teacher to handle, but April was sure she was up for the challenge!
