The end of the war

You happily contact the council and tell them the god news, the Sith are no more! They look at you in disbelief and after a brief silence, Master Yoda shares with you, that Chancellor Palpatine was found dead in his apartment. The cause of his **** couldn't have been determined so quickly, but the doctors said, they had absolutely no clue about it. With the **** of the Sith in mind, the Jedi new focused on investigating the possibility of Palpatine being the Sith lord, Darth Sidious himself. At the meantime, you three are recalled to the temple.

Days pass and the investigation verifies that Palpatine was indeed Darth Sidious, his red lightsabers and other **** related belongings were found in the apartment, hidden from unsuspecting eyes. The most prominent man of the Republic was a Sith lord all along! The Jedi saw it fit to hide the truth from the public for now, at least until the dust has settled and a new supreme chancellor has been elected. As the war is coming to a close, since the Separatist forces were left without a unifying figurehead, their federationist structure has collapsed and several of their leaders have laid down their arms and made a separate peace with the Republic, in order to gain more favourable negotiation positions. Some vowed to continue the struggle until the very end, but even that date was very close. To avoid the power abuses Palpatine has made in the past, the Senate wanted to elect a strong chancellor to bring the war to a conclusive closure, but one, who respects the wishes of the people and wouldn't hoard power for themselves in the future.

Amongst the chosen candidates was Padmé Amidala, who was known for her strong character and her unbreakable will for justice and peace. Other candidates were men like ex chancellor Valorum, who tried to return to power, which was taken from him by Palpatine many years ago. The elections were held without delay and Padmé had the greatest majority of votes in the history of the Republic. She made an oath to keep the republican values safe and never allow such a trampling of intergalactic rights as Palpatine had done on several occasions. As her first action, she restored the galactic constitution to its original form, prior to the manipulations Palpatine had made, then, she offered to open peace negotiations to the remaining Separatists, out of which, most were keen to stop the war. By now, it was clear to everybody, they had been defeated and will be overrun soon either way. The Senate and the people of the galaxy have made a grand applause at the news of the truce with the Separatists, as it was broadcasted across the galaxy. As for you, Ranvi and Drek, the council has decided to grant you the title of Barsen'thor or otherwise called, Warden of the Jedi Order. It is the most prestigious rank amongst the Jedi, signalling the great deed you have achieved, rid the galaxy of the last known Sith! This title has only been awarded 4 times in the history of the Jedi before your times, showing just how grand it truly was. The council stood around you three in a circle and all congratulated you on your deed. From now on, whenever a Jedi met you in the temple, they all nodded and greeted you as the saviours of the Jedi. At first it felt good to be so respected, but later it rather felt ill, to be treated so differently like all other Jedi, looking like you were above them, while all you had done was doing the right thing and helping others in need.

A few weeks later, when the peace was finally signed by both sides and the war was over, the council asked you to have a talk with them. Upon entering the council chambers, the masters coldly share their opinions with you. The Nightsister clan of Mother Talzin must be eliminated, just like the Sith were. You don't even know how to respond to such an unexpected proposal.

Lana: What...? But without them, the Sith would be still lurking around us in the shadows!

Plo: The balance has been partially restored by the **** of the last Sith lords, but from their ashes, a new threat emerged.

Yoda: A great power, Mother Talzin possesses. Concerning, the elimination of the Sith so swiftly, truly is.

Windu: We are better be prepared to combat such a **** in order to maintain the peace we have finally achieved.

Lana: Maintain the peace by starting a new war?! The Nightsisters haven't done anything against the Republic so far, why turn on them like this?

Luminara: I understand that it concerns you after your common efforts to defend Dathomir, but the council views them as a potential new threat in the future, if they are left unchecked.

Lana: And how does the council plans to keep them in check? By killing them all?!

Windu: No, they would have to surrender all their sacred texts and powerful artefacts to the Jedi, we would set up a special group to study them and find a way to counter the spells. Therefore, the witches could no longer make a true damage to the galaxy without the Jedi being able to interfere and defend the innocents.

Lana: But they aren't even planning to do anything like that! They only want to live on their home world, they aren't planning any invasions!

Windu: Not yet.

Lana: This is madness! They won't stand for it! The only way to take their sacred things is by ****, certainly you don't want any more ****!

Windu: If that's the kind of treatment they want, we will send there a clone **** to enforce the will of the council. For the greater good. As a Barsen'thor of the order, we wanted to listen to your opinion on this matter. Moreover, possibly some strategic weaknesses we could exploit in case the situation escalated.

Lana: How can you say such things?! Aren't you listening to yourself?! You want me to provide you with strategic weaknesses of the Nightsisters?! You already know my opinion and my answer for this! Master Yoda, with due respect, certainly you aren't supporting this plan, are you?!

Yoda (after a deep thinking): Hmm... Down a dark path, this thought will bring us... Make the right choice, for the sake of the galaxy, we must... Preserve the balance, we have to.

Lana: A balance, that you are trying to tip heavily in your favour! I'll no longer listen to such nonsense! I shall take my leave from this chamber. If you go through with your plans, the Jedi will be truly losing their way for good...

Plo (after you leave the room): I suggest Master Kenobi should travel there and start negotiations about the transfer of their artifacts.

Obi-Wan: I would leave gladly, I have already met their matriarch before, I'll do my best to avoid bloodshed and keep everything under control.

Yoda: Right the Barsen'thor, might just be... Meditate on our next course of action, I will... To an isolated place, strong in the ****, I will go... Much to think about, I will have. Tainted by the power and the dark side, we might be now...

Windu: As you wish Master Yoda. We will not make a move before your return, only do the preparations for a possible invasion.

You rush to tell Ranvi and Drek about what you were told. They both firmly stand by the Nightsisters and swear to return to Dathomir and help the Nightsisters in case of an other invasion of the planet. Judging from the words of the masters, they certainly will provoke an other planetary war soon... You can't make up your mind yet, should you turn against the Jedi or the Nightsisters with your friends...?
