Checking on the SHH

Ethan sighed as he decided to call up Susan at the SHH to see how things were going.

The SHH was still running during the holidays, although, closed on Christmas Eve, it did reopen on Christmas day, there were some people who didn't have any family to spend Christmas with.

He typed on the computer and called her through video call.

Susan picked up and smiled when she saw him. "Hello sir, merry Christmas."

"Merry Christmas Susan, how are things going there?" Ethan asked as he leaned in closer to the screen.

"Quite well sir." Susan brushed her hair behind her ear. "The new characters that arrived are settling in."

"How are Fubuki and Tatsumaki?" He inquired.

"Better then the last two... They're friendlier and more cooperative with the rest of the staff and they're actually doing work around here. Tatsumaki retains her bratty personality though but we can handle it."

"What about the Jean Grey we ordered?" He remembered that he bought the X-Men movies variant of Jean Grey.

"She's adjusting, thankfully she has suppressors for the phoenix in place." Susan explained.

"Good, Barbara?" He did buy a different variant to the TAS Batgirl.

"She's having some issues.." Susan grimaced. "Like the last one she's not taking it well, but she seems more open to the others and is willing to work but if it's just for her... Investigation." She quoted investigation. "Then it might not last long."

Ethan sighed softly, this was gonna be a headache, "Have someone watch her, someone loyal." He told Susan who nodded. "What about Frost?"

"Oh well... We had a small incident..." Susan looked a bit upset at this.

"... What happened?"

"She nearly froze a patrons dick off." Susan sighed as she rubbed her forehead. "Thankfully her powers were negated but the patron wasn't happy so we compensated with giving him a free session with another character."

"Try and get her comfortable with her position and not have this happen again..." Ethan groaned.

"No promises... The new Mirko is actually doing well." Susan spoke about the last character they replaced. "She's a bit hotheaded but people like her and she actually does work and dance when asked."

"Good, we just need to make sure she doesn't get into any fights." Ethan hummed. "I'll be back after New Year ok? Hold down the fort till then."

"Of course, enjoy your holiday." Susan smiled and the call ended.

Ethan leaned back on his chair, the door to his office opened and Bonnie poked her head inside.

"Oh this is your office." She blinked.

"Yeah... Need anything?" He asked her.
