Jean's teaching and love

~This room is able to create all kinds of conditions and situations. From combat to training and what is projected is as real in here as is in the world outside.~

Ben saw as the room shifted from a gym to a shooting gallery to what seemed to be training dummies. "I see, so if you create a battlefield, the bullets could actually injure us. Danger room indeed." ~ Good thing you understand. I am trying to get you used to a telepaths prefered method of long range comunication, so for this lesson I will speak with my mind.~

"But isn't there a danger of our powers going outside this room, or someone overhearing something we say" She laughed. ~Your powers will not leave the confines of this room and I have insured privacy for both of us. In case I can not resist your powers and we end up in a very pleasing and pleasurable situation.~

~First lesson, you can influence people through their feelings and images are the easiest way to do it. While I am in contact with your mind I will keep my mental barrier up. Your task is to show images to either shock or erode my resolve and brake my barrier. Word of caution, my barrier is strong so be prepared for a challenge."

Ben began by closing his eyes, and he could see the barrier and Jean standing behind it. He created an image to shock. A mutant being chased by teenagers holding torches. No effect. Violance or fear were not going to do it.

He projected and image of a romantic dinner for 2, the soft music and light of the candles was almost like a scene from a love story. Small cracks appeared in the barrier. Ben pushed further, he was there laughing and in some instances holding her hand. They shared some word, hot kisses and ended with the two dancing at a slow song." more cracks.

They both moved from the dancing floor to a room in a hotel. The bed was covered with rose petals in the shape of a heart. She took the inititative and kissed him and image continued, hotter and more passionate until the image was the two making love like it was the most important thing in the world. With this the barrier could not take it anymore and completly broke and came crashing down.

~Impressive. You saw fear had no effect, but that was not true. Fear can cause people to make that barrier even stronger. But love, passion, and the longing to be with someone, can erode a mental defense to the point that the person who erected the barrier will break it themselves to be close to the person projecting it.
