9. It’s Eliza

Eliza looks at you, hurt. The other woman covers herself as best she can and you stand.

“I thought…” She looks dejected and you realize she’s jealous.

“Eliza, what are you doing here?”

“I’m just on my run!” She’s indignant that you’d ask. “What are you doing!?”

You pause for a moment “Cardio.”

Eliza doesn’t find this funny. “You know I could tell your wife. I bet Rachel wouldn’t like you fucking random women in the woods on your run.”

“If you do, you'll have to tell her you’re one of them.”

You’re overlapped by the other woman, “oh god you’re married?”

Eliza looks pensive. “Do I?”

“You said ‘women.’ And I know you, you’re an honest girl. Even if you like fucking married men in the woods and in your parents’ kitchen.”

You step over to her and she blushes. “I– Ok…”

You can tell she wants something. You glance down at your watch and realize you’re running late, but you can’t resist the co-ed in front of you. “You’re jealous aren’t you.”

Eliza blushes.

“Why don’t you two kiss and make up then.”
