Bargain

"Wait!" A stronger yank let the princess escape the demonologists grasp, and even if the demons around her at once started growling, Liandra ignored them.

"You have what you want. But if I disappear on my way to Prince Mortimer´s kingdom, then blame will lie on Nocternia, and both kingdoms will declare war against you anyway." It didn't make any sense to Liandra, and she surely didn't think that would happen.

"The girl has more spirit than you though" Kendra the Blackhand said it, and Sir Derek added "You have one question, princess. And then I expect you to go with Lilith peacefully"

"Will you stop attacking Luxia now that you have me?" She couldn't stop remembering the brave knights that accompanied her, and their grimly deaths for her. The princess wanted to cry, but she had to be strong

Sir Derek didn't answer at first. He considered it. And than he said "For as long as you are in Lilith´s care, obeying all her orders, then all hostilities against your country shall cease. Does that please you, princess?" She just nodded.

Lilith took her by the arm, and whispered "your marriage is about to be ruined, princess. Kendra and Sir Derek will see to it" But before she could say anything else, the demons took hold of her and Lilith and took flight, carrying them to Lilith´s home.
