The presumed leader of the Sirens waits for an answer and she receives one when her arm suddenly moves on it's own, pressing her dagger against her own neck. Goma watching her intently. The leader seems nervous, but the others still seem ready to fight... until Yulia steps forward and fires off a lightning strike into the air. The entire area crackles with electricity for a moment and the sirens, all of whom are still in the water, while all of Yulia's group are on land, do some quick mental arithmetic and all fairly quickly banish their weapons.

"Alright... Seems we're at a bit of a disadvantage..." the male siren speaks up. One of the female sirens tries to rush towards the land, but stops as Yulia points her hand at her.

"What would you even do... If you made it, we'd fry your friends and it would be you against the four of us?" Cherchiel mocks her and she hisses.

"Alright... What say we forget this ever happened and you can just continue on your way?" the leader suggests, staring fearfully at Goma who is still watching her intently. While Yulia is more of a group threat, she's figured out that Goma is the one who is a... more specific, personal and immediate threat to her.

"Perhaps, but while we have you here, we have some questions," Yulia states and the leader, carefully nods. "First, what's with the shells? Why do you want them so much?" Yulia asks.

"Well that's easy. To win the war. Calumia has been at war between ourselves, the mermaids and the Sahuagin for... I don't even know how long now. Just recently someone shows up and they brought weapons. Extremely powerful weapons. The kind of thing that can end this war in a short time, but in return for the weapons they want these shells. We don't know why. They're pretty shells, but we don't think they have any innate value, but the weapon seller wants the shells and we've all been struggling to find enough to secure weapons for our side,"

"No one's managed to buy any yet?" Isalia asks and the leader looks at her like she's stupid.

"Of course they have. We got a few as quickly as we could of course, but so did the Mermaids and Sahuagin and so we're still pretty even, which is why we need to buy more. The first side to get more than the others will undoubtedly win and we need it to be us," she explains.

"I see... So, that's the deal with the shells..." Yulia says, seemingly deep in thought and then shakes her head, "what about breathing underwater, do you know anything that can help with that?" Yulia asks.

"The shrine of the Deep would be your best bet. The priestess there has all kinds of powers... but she'll be costly. If you want a cheaper option there's always the clam. The clam isn't a very friendly sort, but before the weapon seller they were the go to for any kind of advantage in the war," the leader explains and then swallows, "anything else?" she asks, clearly hoping she'll be let go now.

The other Sirens all watch Yulia nervously and Yulia shakes her head, "nothing else to ask, though... I guess we do have one last thing to take care of," she says and nods to Goma. Goma looks a bit hesitant, but then The Siren's hands begin to move.
