She returns home and encounters a stranger

Vanessa felt very afraid. She was so frightened that she thought about calling her parents, but then realized that she didn't want to tell them what she had been up to. Vanessa tried to calm herself down. Maybe she was just overreacting about nothing important? She went back to her apartment and began to search online to figure out the truth behind the game.

To her surprise, she didn't find any mention of a recent update, much less anything about a character named Cindy. So she continued to look for information on the new character. But the more she searched, the more paranoid she became. She found no clear evidence of the new character. The fact that Cindy looked like herself made her wonder if this was all just an elaborate prank aimed at her. But who could be behind it? Who would bother to play such a cruel joke on her?

Vanessa decided to take a shower. She hoped that the warm water would help relax her, but instead she found herself thinking about the game. Her thoughts were interrupted by the doorbell. Vanessa quickly threw a bathrobe around her and went to look through the peephole in the door. Her heart skipped a beat when she saw that there was a man in a trench coat standing at the door. Not only that, but his skin was the same kind of blue-green color as the "Cindy" character in the game.

"Who are you?" Vanessa asked through the door.

"I am here to deliver a message," came the reply.

"What message?"

"You have been chosen."

"Chosen for what?"

"For a mission. A special mission. One I cannot disclose to anyone else except to you."

"And why should I believe you?"

"I know about the game. You must follow me right now. You are in great danger, but you'll be safe with me."
