"Wait!" The princess jumps from her hiding place, and lands on her feet. The minotaur eyes flare with anger "Dryad!" and there was no question he would attack, but Rosalia jumped in front of the princess, holding her puny dagger.

He lunged, and Rosalia pushed Liandra to the ground, both narrowly escaping a gruesome **** under the Minotaur´s axe. But they laid prone and helpless to dodge the minotaur again.

His imposing figure lumbered closer as Rosalia and Liandra helplessly tried to stand up. The Minotaur cut their escape, burying his axe on the ground almost to the hilt, just above their heads. The minotaur narrowed his eyes, and sniffed them. "You smell foul. You are no denizen of the forest"

"I am Princess Liandra... and this is Rosalia. we are... women." The minotaur turned his nose again "If you are, you are in a dire need of a bath"

"That is because we were held captives until very recently...and I believe by the very same people who captured your women." Liandra had recovered some of her regal bearing. "It is a plot most evil, and something that can threaten not only this forest, but the entire kingdom! You must help us"

The minotaur considered her words "I am Taurus, strongest of my tribe, and I refuse to follow a weak leader. Nor will I fight your fight for you. Just point me to their lair´s direction, and I will do what needs to be done"

"Don't underestimate their power... they have magic, cunning and pure strength. We need to do this together... and with your friends, even, for their women were also victims, right?" Liandra grew bolder now that she didn't have to face a berserking monster.
