She pushed past more of the statues until she finally made way to a natural waterfall like shower where a woman with a lovely hourglass figure was turned away from her. Looking around she ducked behind a nearby rock and took in the beauty before her. Luckily there was an ornate silver framed mirror that was next to the woman. Upon looking at the reflection the woman had tan skin which gave way to a white before turning into green scales. Suddenly she heard the hissing grow louder as when she looked at the reflection she saw the woman staring right at her.

"Miss I must warn you being here is dangerous and seeing as you do not brandish a weapon I can assume you are not here to slay me like these fools who surround my domain"said the mystery woman.

"I am not scared but if I may ask are you by chance the daughter of medusa or her lineage because unlike other gorgons, lamia, or naga you have two legs?" questioned Farah carefully treading forward.

"Granddaughter actually and you are right I am not like other gorgons for you see our bloodline was a curse by that was brought on by Athena but do to the lovely donation Poseidon gave to her. We are allowed a somewhat easier existence so long as we take the necessary precautions and stick to Grandpa's rules." The woman said before following up with "Though I must say it is rather rude to ask about a persons life without introductions wouldn't you agree hehe." She chuckled innocently before awaiting a response from Farah.

"Oh I'm terrible sorry you are right that was awfully rude of me my name is Farah... Farah Gates and you are," Farah asks politely.

The woman for her part turns around revealing her full glory as well as glowing eyes to Farah before saying. " My name is Meusa but my sisters call me Muse and you are smart to wear those for if you didn't you would be no better than these idiots here". She then pushed over one of the statues but unlike the stories it did not shatter, only fell to the ground with a large thud. Eventually both girls made their way to where one would assume was the living residence though it was just some furniture in the outdoors with some pillars and tree branches forming somewhat of an enclosure. They talked about how the daughters of medusa were protected by Poseidon so long as they stay to this forest clearing and are to only stone people who wish them physical harm. If by chance they do turn someone to stone that wasn't trying to harm them there was a cure but it can only be applied at the edge of the clearing that way the afflicted wouldn't run into the same fate. Luckily the cure involved a little bit of water from the river Lethe in the underworld. They also talked about the loneliness of compassion that she and her sisters feel as not many mortal are aloud to enter there domain much less bed them. It was at this point that Farah introduced the Catalogue as well as her other inventions.

Though they sound like such a primitive concept."Meusa said relieving Farah of the stress of having an angry god of the sea after her.

Eventually after talking for another hour Meusa revealed that she too thought Farah was beautiful but wanted to be careful if they were to make love.
