I cried out as the first lash hit my back. I could already feel the blood slice down my back.

I screamed so loudly my throat hurt.

Despite the agonising pain, I continued to protect Lindsey with my body.

I'm not going to lie. This is the worst I've ever felt. I sobbed openly. Still, it was no way than I deserve. Better that I suffer than Lindsey. Suddenly, the doors burst open. Cutie and Susan stepped in with several other members of the Royal Magnificent, along with... Lauren? And Sublime Blue? That can't be right.

"It's over." said Cutie.

"But... How...?" asked Marel.

"Your mistake was thinking Lauren was a monster like you." said Susan. "After what you did to Vanessa, she was happy to help us bring you down."

"But my father!" said Marel.

"Even he's not willing to cover for you anymore." said Cutie. "Your psychopathy has become obvious, even to him."

I was untied, along with Lindsey.

"Are you okay?" asked Susan.

I could barely stand up but I more worried about Lindsey.

"Make sure Lindsey's okay." I said.

"You won't get away with this!" screamed Marel.

Ben just slugged Marel in the face, knocking flat to the ground.

"That is for Lindsey." he said.

"For now, we will take Marel prisoner. Now that we've won, the fates of Gina, Marel and Lauren must be decided." said Cutie.

I was given some clothes and got dressed. I walked out the mansion with my friends. Marel and her faction were now our prisoners.
