10. Kristin is just getting in

You prop your door and see that Kristin is just getting in. She’s early, clearly trying to impress you after your conversation yesterday. Maybe she hopes that that was a one-off part of her performance improvement plan. You have other ideas.

“Kristin! Are you ready for our first one-on-one?”

Her eyes go wide, she glances down at a smartwatch and sees the calendar event for a conversation with you. “Yes of course.” She puts her purse down at her desk and enters your office, closing the door behind her.

“So, how are you faring on your preparedness, Kristin?”

“I brought everything I could possibly need, today. It’s all in my bag.” She seems nervous to you.

“But I notice your bag isn’t here.”

“Oh… I can go get it.” A flash of fear crosses her eyes.

You know exactly what she brought, not that you’d use condoms anyway. Not with your goals.

“It seems the lesson hasn’t quite sunk in, has it Kristin?”

She hangs her head, “No sir.”

“Come bend over the desk.”
