Knightwoman

Lisanna Craig was lounging in her mansion on a Friday Night. She had just slipped on a fleecy nightgown and was enjoying a glass of wine while she stroked her cat and read a paper. She had made the headlines again in her superheroine persona, Knightwoman. She had prevented the nefarious Clownman and his henchwoman Jenny Jester from robbing the first national bank of Renisance City. She smiled at the picture of her in a superhuman pose as the two villains where lead away in a van. "Sometimes I impress even myself Barb." She said as she scratched her cats head, earning a pur from her feline companion.

Suddenly a phone started ringing. Some would have thought the presence of a old rotorty phone would be strange in a modern mansion, especially one that was paid for by Craig & Son's Military Solutions, but this phone had a purpose. It was a direct line from the mayor of Renisance City to Knightwoman. Dashing to the phone, Lisanna picked up the phone in answered. Normally, Lisanna spoke in a sexy french accent but when she was Knightwoman, she spoke in an american accent. "Hello your honor?" "Knightwoman" Mayor Gordan spoke on the other line. She had formed an alliance with Knightwoman some time ago and would often call upon her to deal with the more intense aspect of the crimenal underworld. "Thank you for your good work yesterday. Thanks to you, Renisance City can rest easy tonight." Lisanna smiled "It was my pleasure your honor." "I'm sure you where enjoying a night off after that but I'm afraid I must ask for your help once again." "Oh it's not trouble at all your honor. How may I be of assistence?" "Well, one of the RCPD's best detectives finally tracked down the Trapstress." Lisanna's eyes snapped open. The Trapstress was a notorious villainess who had meneced Renisance City for years. A snuff film maker, she would capture victims and subject them to various perils. Though these perils would start out as easily escapable, after awhile, they would be placed in one that they couldn't escape. Police had been after her for years with no luck. Lisanna had been looking into the case herself but hadn't had much luck. She was shocked that the police figured out her location before her. "Are the police preparing for an ****?" "No. This isn't the first time the RCPD has gotten a beat on her. Last time we lost 3 officers trying to storm her lair." "I see. So I take it they want me to go in?" "I know it's a lot to ask Knightwoman but you may be the only one who stands a chance."

Lisanna thought. The Trapstress had been a major threat to the city for some time now and she was confident she could take her down. But she had been over confident in the past and gotten herself into trouble. She was a trained escape artist but she wasn't eager to push her luck. There where other villians to consider. Perhaps it would be better if she insisted on some back up....but that would put others at risk?
