Liandra takes the first watch

Liandra felt like she wasn't doing enough for the team, so she volunteered to take the first watch, despite her being very tired. She didn't expect it to be so boring.

Her friends all dozed off, with the exception of Rodrik, who remained vigilant, even from afar. The Wyld Fury had been quiet all evening, but suddenly broke her silence.

"Your friends are all going to die" The woman said matter of factly. "They think themselves brave and strong, but they are but fleas. They will be killed and no one will remember them"

"Shut up. If Altima hears you, she will be mad" That was as much of a threat as Liandra could muster, and it was obviously not much. But the prisoner did get quiet.

"Tell me more about your master" but there was silence "Please?" was all the princess could think of, and that surprisingly did get an answer "You wont fool me, suppliant. I saw your guiding light, you seek to take my place. But Master loves me, and would rather bath in acid than touch one such as you" The woman spits on the ground "virgin. Pure. Immaculate. Vestal. We know you for what you are." The Wyld Fury than closed her eyes, and refused to discuss another word with the princess.

Liandra lost track of time, only Rodric prodding told her it was time to wake Altima. But her words did still unsettle, perhaps there was more in the book then Liandra first though? Should she try to study it further, or does Liandra accept a well deserved rest?
