Hallway Chat: Leah showed more attention to Daniel (Daniel: +10 Jason: -15)

"Daniel and I were just talking about Halloween." Leah said moving slightly toward Daniel.

"Oh uh," Jason fumbled with his words--he was unprepared to have some competition present. "Yeah that is coming up. We have our Spooky Night Concert soon."

"What are you going to dress up as?" Daniel asked looking at Leah.

"I really don't know." Leah shrugged adding "Probably something simple."

"Some of the kids go all out and look pretty good." Daniel said with a smile.

"Oh like that one last year who the nurse thought was an actual gunshot victim?" Leah asked laughing.

"Don't remind me." Daniel groaned in mock agony "It drove my 3rd period class wild. He was in there."

"Oh gosh." Leah exclaimed brushing Daniel's arm as they talked. Jason stood awkwardly for a bit then broke into the conversation to announce he was leaving the conversation.

"That's cool...I gotta get to class." he said as he moved through the hall toward the band room, his pride slightly hurt that Leah had paid attention to Daniel and less to him.
