A manager notices and comes to help

As they stood in the aisle, a woman in her 40s came walking down wearing a red vest. “Hello, I’m Cindy, I’m the store manager here, can I help you with anything?”

Helen turned and smiled. “Yes, please. I’m trying to find diapers for my daughter.”

Alexa’s eyes bulged as Cindy eyes her up and down. “Diapers?” Cindy asked. “Is she a bedwetter? Pantswetter?”

“Mostly a bed wetter,” Helen said. “But she’s had a few day time accidents.”

Cindy nodded and smiled. “I see. Well then, let me get you some great deals. You see these diapers,” Cindy gestured to the package with the resealable tapes. “Have both a nighttime and a daytime version. However, we don’t feel like you should pay for both. So they’re actually buy one get one free as long as you get one daytime pack and one nighttime pack.”

Helen looked intrigued. “Wow, that’s a great deal.”

“But it gets better,” Cindy said. “You also get 75% off on all baby products purchased along with the diapers. That means not only do you get one free but you also get that package 75% off. And then you can get some baby wipes, baby powder, or whatever else you’ll need.”

Cindy began help filling Helen’s cart. “Which wipes do you recommend?”

“Definitely these Pampers wipes. They’re super soft and they do a good job cleaning,” Cindy said.

Cindy kept throwing items into the cart and then smiled as they reached the end of the aisle. “Now is there anything else you’re shopping for or are you ready to check out?”
