Picking Partners

Eventually in class, everyone sits down and prepares for the day. The bell rings and Mr Aizawa arrives to take attendance. He looks over all the students before looking puzzled. "Has anyone seen Hagakure?"

Everyone looks around, before Mineta speaks up. "How are we supposed to see her if she's invisible?"

The class just stares at him in silence for a moment before Aizawa sighs. "Hagakure? Are you present?"

"I think she said she was sick..." Midoriya suddenly pipes up.

"Yeah, she said her stomach was hurting last night, she probably is too sick to come in..." Uraraka adds from her desk across the room. The class looks at the two vampires for a moment before diverting their attention away, as if seeing nothing wrong with their new lewd appearances.

"Well, I guess if she's really that sick, we could send recovery girl to the dorms... I'll see if she can at lunch." Aizawa says in an uninterested tone.

The next little bit of class is met without much incident, until the class gets put into groups of two for an exercise. Midoriya and Uraraka naturally pair up, with Tsu looking a little betrayed due to the bond she built recently with Midoriya. But soon the frog girl moves on and finds another interesting partner in Kirishima.

Yaoyorozu decides to be the only student without a partner, as someone had to volunteer to work alone due to the absence of Hagakure.

The exercise involves the students looking at a map of a burning building with civilians inside and planning their actions to save them and minimize damage in the most efficient manner. But when the rest of their classmates start working, Midoriya and Uraraka start work of their own.

The two vampires huddle together, barely able to keep it together being so close to someone they could just fuck instead. But they start discussing a plan to turn as many classmates as possible by nightfall. "Now, we can't just go biting everyone... That'd be overkill for just one day. But I think we have enough numbers within the school to progress more than yesterday." Despite Midoriya's transformation, his analytical mind still shines through.

Uraraka nods and they look around, should they target someone now? Would their influence be enough to hide their actions from their classmate's minds? They're not sure, but they need to decide soon, Midoriya lets Uraraka be the one to choose, saying that she needs to find her first victim, whether that's now or later.

During the exercise, Jirou is paired with Mina. The two opted to be the only fully female pairing in class since all the other girls either went with a guy or decided to work alone in Momo's case.

"So, do anything fun with Denki lately?" Ashido asks out of the blue.

Jirou immediately blushes and shakes her head. "Wha- Me? What?! Why would I do anything with him?"

Mina laughs and kicks back in her chair. "Oh come on! Just admit you're in love already..."

"Let's just... keep working." The punk rocker looks embarrassed and continues her planning for the made up scenario. As she does so, the thought of last night pops into her head. The things she heard were strange, something completely out of character for Uraraka, and even Midoriya for that manner. She knows they're both head over heels for eachother, but as far as she knows they haven't even kissed yet.

She glances over to them, and swears she sees something different. But with a blink of her eyes the strange difference is gone, and immediately out of her mind. She momentarily forgets what she was even thinking about, why was she staring at those two...?

It isn't until almost a minute later that she remembers the reason for her staring. She quickly darts her eyes back to them, but once again doesn't see anything out of the ordinary.

Even though everything is as it should be, it doesn't feel like it. It's as if there's something she should be seeing that she just isn't. Like something is keeping her from noticing something she isn't supposed to. And just like that, that thought too recedes into the back of her mind, bringing more confusion. "I- Wha? What were we doing?"

Mina giggles and points down to the paper. "Evacuation planning?"

"Oh... right!" Jirou regains her positive mood and the two continue on with class, all the way until the bell rings to send them off to lunch...
