Chapter 7 by Delilah717 Delilah717

Does Wraith Warrior take him under his wing?

He does

“I will grant your request.”

The villain raised his scythe but rather than attacking, the weapon began to retract, coming down to the size of an umbrella. Wraith Warrior attached it to his back.

“Come with me.”

Kyle eagerly followed his new boss. But before leaving, he quickly took out his phone and snapped a few photos of The Hammer’s slumped naked body. Emerging from unconsciousness slowly, she let out a few soft moans. Satisfied, and not wanting to get into any more trouble, he slipped the phone back into his pocket and hurried after Wraith Warrior. The pair entered a series of back alleys. It felt like a maze, but the supervillain knew he was around. Guiding him along, his new boss led him to what seemed like a regular sewer grate- that was, until he lifted it up. Rather than coming off, the grate began to rise showing that it wasn’t a sewer grate after all- but a secret elevator. Kyle whistled excitedly.

“You first,” the villain motioned to the elevator.

Following orders, he stood squarely in the center of the elevator. It wasn’t big enough to fit them both at the same time. A whirring sound filled the air and then suddenly, he dropped.

The floor fell with tremendous car-like speed. For several minutes, the elevator rocketed into the crust of the Earth before finally jolting to a sudden halt. Kyle lost his footing and slammed into the wall. Once he regained his composure, Kyle looked out to one of the most incredible sights he had ever seen.

Wraith Warrior’s lair was insane. The facility had been built deep underground, in a spot where lava naturally formed. The molten substance pooled at the floor of the cavern. The base itself was raised on a platform hanging over the hazardous material. Streams of lava spilled from holes in the ceiling and wall, flowing into the pool beneath. The room was triangularly shaped. The point he stood at was the elevator. The point off towards his left was a large computer screen and setup. The point off towards his right was another door- an entrance to other chambers. He would later learn that those other chambers included a high-tech training gym, a weapons armory, several bedrooms, and a prison cell, fitted with special “tools” to make prisoners "talk".

Suddenly, the elevator whirred to life and shot back up. A minute later, it returned, with his new boss.

“Welcome," the demonic villain stretched out a decrepit arm, "My henchman."

What's first on the agenda?
