What note does Lois write to herself?

ANSWER THE PHONE

The clock struck midnight. Lois Lane looked at the note in her hand. She recognized her own handwriting, but couldn't remember writing the note.

ANSWER THE PHONE

Brow furrowed, Lois Lane looked at her phone—and it began to ring. Curious, she checked the idea on the caller. It was Zatanna. The reporter grimaced. This was all so bizarre...and then she heard a knock at the door. Lois stabbed the green button to answer the phone call as she rose to see who was at the door.

"Lois? I got your text," Zatanna said.

"Text? I didn't send you any text," Lois said.

".rebmemeR" Zatanna's voice came from the other end of the line...and the reporter stopped dead in her tracks as the memories of the night rushed in to fill the hole left by Blaze's memory charm. She remembered everything...including texting Zatanna to call and undo the amnesia spell.

"Thanks, Zee," Lois said. "I'll tell you what this is about when it's all over, I promise."

She ended the call and opened the door. Feigned surprise as she saw Blaze in her human form, tall and lean in hip-hugging black jeans and boots, a ripped black t-shirt that showed off the smooth muscles of her arms and shoulders, that Mona Lisa smile on her lips.

"Hey, sweetmeat," Blaze said. "Are you okay?"

"I'm sorry," Lois said, playing along. "Do I know you?"

"We met at the club earlier tonight. I saw some guy slip something into your drink. I hope you don't mind that I followed you home, but he looked like a total creep..."

So that's your play, Lois thought to herself. The reporter did her best to look confused, debating what the best thing to do was. All she needed to do was not fuck Blaze between now and dawn. The easy thing to do would be to slam the door in her face...but that might give the game away. If the demon knew Lois cheated, the missing women might never be found. Lois debated how best to handle this situation.
