Enjoys the Monkey

Thanks to Cardin's wish, what Ruby saw before her wasn't her sister. No, instead she simply saw a Monkey bounding around in front of her, frantically waving her arms and shrieking.

"Um... Hi there Miss Monkey!" Ruby giggled.

"OOK?!" Yang exclaimed as Cardin caught up.

"Hff... Man, you really went for it huh? Come here."

Obediently, Yang's body marched over to Cardin.

"Sit."

And plopped down at his feet.

"Cardin...?" Ruby said with a side-eye "Is this monkey yours?"

"Yeah. She is" he snickered as he looked down at Yang, who stared at Ruby with heartbreak in her eyes. "I'm just taking her for a walk"

"Really? What's her name?!" Ruby asked with genuine excitement.

"Yang"

Ruby glared at him.

"Very funny" she huffed, crossing her arms

"I'm serious. Your name is Yang, right? Clap if your name is Yang."

Yang immediately began clapping.

"O-oh... I uh... wow" Ruby said with a bit of embarrassment "Sorry about that. I thought you were making fun of my sister..."

Cardin couldn't help but chuckle to himself.
