Becoming a body theft accomplice

"What do you mean, whatever body you're in?" Jason asked.

Alice smiled, her fingers caressing her chest. "Something to know about how I pilot bodies, I found that it's most convenient to build my control center in the breasts, hence Carrie's current impressive size." Alice lifted Carrie's arms up, swaying her chest back and forth. "Just some nanite structures and my own body on one side, the remaining nanites on the right, but you wouldn't even know if you touched us, these breasts would feel all natural--and we'd get a nice massage in return."

Jason just stared dumbly at Alice, so she decided to get right to the point. "Carrie has an astrophysics conference that she's speaking at in about a week, which you're invited to as well as her plus-one even though she doesn't know it yet--you'll be more like my plus-one, instead. You'll find she's compelled to invite you later. Anyway, all of her colleagues know her as a woman with a somewhat more modest chest, which means I'll have to temporarily vacate her body while she's in public at the conference. If we were just walking around the mountain town twenty miles from here, no problem, I have stayed in her just fine through that. But I don't intend to draw attention to myself in front of a bunch of alien hunters, nor do I want to affect her reputation with her colleagues."

"...So, you want a new body during that? You're not going to take mine, are you?" Jason asked, hesitant at the idea of being piloted by an alien himself.

Alice burst into laughter. "Of course not! Unless you want some stellar boobs, I suppose, but no, I'm far more interested in my natural disguise within a woman's body. So, when we travel, I'll leave Carrie's body and the nanites will encase me in a sort of egg-like shape for a little while, it'll let me survive on my own for a bit. But either you or I will pick out some other bodies to use during this trip."

Jason gulped, hearing that he was going to potentially become an accomplice to alien body theft for a few days. Both exciting and terrifying thoughts crossed his mind, and he had to take a moment to clear his head before the next question came up. "Wait, won't Carrie and the others realize something's up with their boob sizes fluctuating?"

"I'll take care of that part," Alice said with a smile. "It's easy for me to adjust the minds of my vessel, and then I'll use some nanites for temporary attire as needed. Carrie won't even realize that I'm gone, though she might subconsciously wish I was back. She enjoys having big boobs too, you know. But it'll only be temporary anyway, then we'll return back here and whatever happens next week, I'll give you the grand finale with Carrie's body." Her smile widened into a grin. "You just have to accompany me to make sure I can hop from body to body and not draw suspicion. If we find someone with itty-bitty titties, I'm going to end up looking absolutely massive on them, but if I jump into someone with already naturally large breasts then I might be able to go unnoticed the whole time. And then I'll take direct control of them from time to time, but I'll otherwise influence them to stay close to you, among... other things."

The choice indeed was clear at this point. Aliens needed bodies to survive, they could alter memories and leave no trace, and they just wanted to have fun in different human hosts for a few days. What could possibly go wrong?

"Okay," Jason finally said, exhaling at the weight of the idea of Alice taking on all these new bodies. Jason suspected that body theft with those nanites was only the first of many tricks that the alien was hiding from him. "I'll go along with you on this."

Alice clasped her hands together. "Fantastic! I enjoyed our talk." She slipped her blouse back on, buttoning it up. "I'll save our enjoyment of each other's company for next week, then, this was just a teaser. As for Carrie, she thinks you've been talking about her miniatures game this whole time, so play along and you'll make her so happy. I'll see you next week, Jason."

After closing her eyes and squirming in her chair for a bit, Alice vanished. When her eyes opened again, Carrie was back at the helm, shaking her head. "Whoa, sorry about that, just had a bit of a headrush. Anyway, like I was saying, I know the conventional wisdom is to put all your stats in defense up against the hydrabeast, but if you look at the die probabilities, blinding it means it probably won't even be able to hit you, so then you can be more aggressive."

Jason blinked, and dumbly nodded his head, trying to change gears to focus on the Damsels and Druids game that was laid out on the table. He couldn't take his eyes off of Carrie for long, though, seeing the chatterbox returning to her bubbly self. "Uh, right, that's an interesting strategy. Last time I fought a hydrabeast we had a spell to immobilize it with vines, that was pretty effective."

Carrie and Jason talked for another few minutes about the game, before Carrie smiled, and suddenly leaned forward to hug Jason. "You know, I'm glad you're here," Carrie said. "Having someone to talk to about my hobbies as well as someone I can work well with... it's a breath of fresh air. Thanks for being a good friend. Oh! I just remembered. Are you busy next week"

Already knowing the answer, Jason feigned surprise. "No, far as I know. Why, what's next week?"

"Oh, I just wanted to bring you along to my boring astrophysics conference, it'd at least have a nice hotel to get a break from the beds around here. I understand if you don't want to go with me, but it's my first big chance to present some of my research in front of an audience, so I need all the good vibes I can get, and I just get this feeling inside me when you're around that makes me feel like I'm a whole other person."

Jason tensed up at the words, but he still nodded.

Carrie stood up, rearranging a couple of the models on her board, leaning forward to inadvertently show off some of her cleavage--almost like Alice was maneuvering Carrie to be a little showy just to tease Jason. "Anyway, my family's flying in, I've got friends who are going to meet up, some of my colleagues I haven't seen since grad school are going to show up, it's going to be a lot of people and a lot of fun."

And a lot of potential bodies for Alice, Jason thought to himself...
