Skirts are a girl's best friend

Jim took a few moments to glance at the waiting room full of women and paused for a moment, taking a moment to look over the list of people waiting to be seen and being more than a bit impressed at the marks on each of the files indicating that, of the 15 people in the room, 12 were new patients that had come in to seek medical care. The opening of the new office had been a bit of a struggle, especially with the way that the staff had to relocate several of their services, but the word-of-mouth that had stretched even to this town had been tremendous and they had opened with quite a bit of referrals in the process. Gary and Robert were almost certain that it was due to the way they catered to exclusively women for care, Gary with his speciality as a OB-GYN, Robert as a pediatric care specialization, and Jim as a plastic surgeon. Not quite the common type of practice but the three had been friends in college, had gone to med-school together, stayed through residency, and now had been practicing for over 2 decades at this point.

Teresa popped her head in and looked a bit relieved at seeing Jim by himself. "Hey, got a moment?"

Jim looked up at his office manager and nodded, motioning for the woman to take a seat. "Whatcha got?"

She looked at him for a moment. "Listen, I wanted to ask you about what you offered earlier, y'know?" She pointed discreetly down at her chest and Jim just smiled and nodded. "I mean, they're a bit saggy but I feel that I could look a bit better?"

He nodded in understanding and then after taking a few moments to take some measurements and discussed some options for her, he looked at her again. "I don't see why not, just pick a size you're comfortable with and we can make arrangements." With a relieved smile, she got up from her seat and sighed, looking at her reflection in the mirror off to the side. "You've kept yourself in really good shape, Teresa, you should be proud."

"I know, it's just that the girls could be a bit more..." She turned and nodded her thanks before slipping back out of the office. He just made a note to get her documents in order for a final consult before turning his attention back to the questionnaire on the side of the table.

10.) IF YOU WERE A WOMAN...WOULD YOU WEAR SKIRTS?

Almost without a thought, Jim had his pen in his hand. Without a doubt, yes. I would be more happy wearing skirts, dresses, something easy to slip on and off... He read that last bit and laughed, almost wondering what type of girl he would make if that part had slipped out, before he continued. I would be at ease more in a dress of all sorts, both professional and fun, and would find it a bother to wear shorts or pants, saving them only for when I had to wear them. Jim mused at that one, supposing that a doctor would have to wear pants in the operating theater after all. Still, all in all, a skirt or dress would be so much easier to be comfortable in, especially when he was wearing the heels he was wearing now.

With the last moment before his appointment, he placed the questionnaire back down in his bag and stood, taking a moment to adjust his skirt, before placing the coat back on and heading to the waiting room. "Mrs. Thatcher? I'll see you now."

Tim looked up from his book as Jim came into the living room and waved hello before motioning to the chair opposite to him, where their mom was laying asleep. Jim just nodded and motioned to join him in the kitchen. As Tim slipped in, Jim sat down at the table and looked at his younger sister. "New dress?"

He spun around and smiled. "Thought I'd treat myself, can't be afraid to dress a bit flashy after all."

Tim smiled again as Jim nodded and then looked at him. "So, when are you going to tell me about Taylor?"

Jim blinked in surprise before he laughed a little and shook his head. "There's nothing to tell, Taylor's a bit too young for me." He shrugged as he turned and placed a hand on his sister's. "He would be right for you, though. I know how you look at him when he's not paying attention." It was his sister's turn to blush and then leaned in. "Besides, between you and me, I was sort of thinking of someone else..."

Tim looked wide-eyed as Jim turned his phone and showed the pic. "Damn, I should've known."

11.) IF YOU WERE A WOMAN...WOULD YOU WEAR JEWELRY?
