Escapee

The first night after the party, you ended up sleeping back to back with a big space between you. If there was a couch, you are sure it would have had your name on it.

The event surprisingly made it to the national news, and the government didn't miss the chance to take action in the name of protecting everybody.

Days pass, and while you get to contact your family, you aren't able to properly explain what happened. Access to the outside world is somewhat limited at the cabin as you are instructed to avoid leaving too many traces.

Of course, disappearing right after that mess also attracts attention, but the Alpha decides it's better to be safe than sorry, and with your recent blunder, your opinion no longer packs a punch. You will surely have a hard time dealing with the consequences in the future, but Edward doesn't seem to concerned about that.

While you've tried to avoid everyone, there are times when you simply can't. Like at the dinner table, where the atmosphere is incredibly uncomfortable. All this affects your capability to lead your friends.

However, you are willing to be a good boy and do anything to smooth things down with Jenny. After all, that's more important to you than having a piece of the pack. If avoiding certain people will alleviate some of Jenny's worries, then so be it.

The plan seems to be working as your relationship with Jenny is slowly reverting back to normal, but you don't get to enjoy the calm for long. It all comes crashing down when you get called to Edward's office one more time.

"Care to explain where Leyla is?"

"Well... I'm not sure..."

"She has been gone for two days, and you didn't even notice?"

"Look, I have better things to do. I don't keep tabs on all the members, I'm not their mother. In fact, you bang her mother, so you should know better than me where she is."

"And, of course, I know where she is. I just thought you would want to know since you've fucked her. Or do you ignore all chicks after you bang them?"

His laid-back attitude takes you by surprise. You've kept butting heads lately, and you usually get under his skin easily, so when he doesn't respond to your taunts, you know he already has a plan.

"Hey, that was ... I didn't..." You stumble with your words, and that gives him the opportunity to cut you off.

"I don't care if you fuck every bitch that decided to follow you, but I expect you to keep them in check. I said no one is to leave, did I not?"

"Yes, but..."

"And you didn't even notice she left? You disappoint me."

With no words left to defend yourself, you simply lower your head. You fucked up, and continue to fuck up.

"It's good you understand, but that's not why I called you. As I said, I know where she is and I think you should see this. So, are you coming or not?"

He's right. You should take responsibility for them, after all, you are their Prime. They trusted you, so you should reward that by doing everything you can to keep them safe.

"Of course, I'm coming," you say confidently.
