The other paintbrush

The other paintbrush, which was out of the kitchen when you told everything to stop spreading the effects, darted back into the kitchen. It disappeared into the utility closet for a moment, then made a beeline for the cabinet below the sink, whose doors opened on their own, but not enough for you to see what was happening.

When the cabinet opened, the brush came out, followed by a filled out pair of rubber gloves, a hovering box of plastic gloves, a plastic bag, and three vials of Manacite.

"Hey, wait!" you yelled. "You can't take that!" But before you could move to stop them, one of the kitchen chairs slid up from behind you, defying gravity as soon as your butt made contact with the seat.

Meanwhile the box of gloves ripped open, and gloves burst from it, filling themselves as they quickly moved to restrain you in the hovering chair. They were strong for empty gloves,

The floating chair turned in the air so you see the empty gallon jug coming from the utility cabinet, floating over to the sink to fill itself up.

“What are gonna do with that?!” you said, knowing there would be no verbal answer. You watched as the jug filled up, then floated toward the kitchen door with a bundle of limp gloves and a couple of empty spray bottles following. The door helpfully unlocked and opened by itself, letting the rogue items escape.
