Chapter 3 by Yabusa Yabusa

What does Jason ask first?

He wants to know what's controlling Carrie!

Jason took a seat across the way from Carrie, as her hands kept playing with her breasts almost as if Jason wasn't even there. "So, what is this? You're not moving your body right now? Something else is, uh, controlling you?"

"Bingo," Carrie said, surprisingly calm about the predicament she seemed to be in. "Beta, could you do something about Aleph? I know this is one of your scheduled nights, but I'll make it up to you. I really need to talk with Jason right now."

Carrie's head leaned back as she closed her eyes, taking a deep breath. Two little lumps ran down Carrie's throat, along her skin until it reached her breasts. When Carrie opened her eyes again, she looked like her usual blue-eyed self. "Thanks, Beta, that feels much--oh, right." Carrie's face turned scarlet when she realized that she was still topless in front of Jason, hurriedly grabbing a blanket to wrap around her shoulders. She cleared her throat and turned to Jason again.

"Beta? Aleph?" Jason asked, quirking an eyebrow.

Carrie nodded, crossing her jeans-clad legs. "I named them myself. More importantly... Jason, I've kind of already succeeded in ETSA's mission statement. Kind of. A few months ago, you remember the news reports about seeing a meteor streaking in the sky near the mountain?"

Jason nodded.

"Well, it wasn't a meteor, it was a spacecraft. It hit the side of the mountain, it had been following a signal I'd broadcast on the radio array in the observatory and something had gone wrong when the ship entered the atmosphere. So I went out to look, and I found a craft about the size of a schoolbus embedded in the mountain. I poked around the debris and found this sort of exoskeletal suit, this weird organic tech that I'd never seen before, it's like their version of a spacesuit I guess. Anyway, it had broken in two and inside it was this weird green... thing, it sort of had this slimy, gelatinous look to it but it also had these eyestalks and tendrils and, y'know, just wow, right? That was Aleph, I picked the name since it sounded kind of like 'alien' I guess. Same with Beta, who is the 'bot', kind of like Aleph's AI assistant that allowed Aleph to interface with the bigger bio-suit and is basically a silvery gooey mass compared to Aleph's green gooey mass."

"So, you find these, uh... well, aliens, right," Jason said, trying to follow along with what would have otherwise sounded like an absurd tale, but he could only look so skeptical after seeing what Carrie was doing moments before, "and instead of being in this bio-suit, the aliens, what, made YOU into their new bio-suit?"

Carrie snorted a little as she chuckled. "I know you're trying to be sarcastic or funny or whatever, but yeah. I'm basically like their new bio-suit. Aleph essentially needed a bigger host body in order to survive, and Beta followed Aleph into me as well to create the interface between our bodies for Aleph to live. And wouldn't you know it, my formerly-modest boobs suddenly gained new purpose that day, housing the majority of their bodies in a safe way, and frankly giving me quite the confidence boost even if they can be a little, y'know, unwieldly at times. But yeah, now I have an alien and a supercomputer nano-cluster that turned my breasts into cockpits of sort for these alien beings to, well..." Carrie blushed again, apparently having never said this part out loud. "Well, they control me. Or, they pilot me? They make my body move and stuff. There's a lot to it."

"Do they always do the, y'know... the eye thing?" Jason asked.

"Oh, that's just Aleph, and only sometimes. You probably saw the tattoos, right?" Carrie lowered the blanket around just enough to expose her shoulders and collarbone, where the tattoos of the circuit pattern and the eyes resided. "They're actually sensor arrays, so Aleph and Beta can see and hear and everything even when they're not moving me around fully. Don't get too excited, but I do end up wearing some low-cut stuff for their benefit," Carrie said with a wink. How could she be so casual about such a strange situation like this where she loses control of her body to aliens?!

Jason just shook his head in disbelief as he listened to everything Carrie said, looking at those tattoos before turning back to look into Carrie's eyes. "And now these... well, Aleph and Beta, they just control your body whenever?"

"Well, yes and no." Carrie shifted in her seat, wrapping up again with the blanket since it really was rather chilly in the common area, even as the furnace struggled mightily to produce any sort of heat for the facility. "I've worked out a schedule with them outside of work hours. Every other day, they can take control of me and do pretty much whatever they want. That might mean working at fixing their spacecraft, or learning about human culture, or... studying anatomy, as Aleph had been doing. I don't care what they do, I don't judge or complain, and I know you probably have boundaries or something but if they do something with or to you using my body and you're into it, I'm not going to be mad as long as you remember that when I'm in control I'm going to do my own thing too. Anyway... right, so when I'm in control, I can call on their help for things, Aleph and Beta both have some unique skills that I'm sure you'll find out about over time, they're really useful and fun in a way, you'll see I'm sure."

Leaning forward, Jason could just barely hide his excitement at hearing that if these otherworldly beings wanted to use Carrie's body in some way for his benefit, then she had no issues with that. The possibilities raced through his mind... but it seemed like he would have to befriend an alien or two first, before he could take advantage of that. Or maybe he didn't? Aleph seemed pretty forward...

"Okay, last question for you I guess," Jason said, glancing over at the ETSA logo on the wall in faded paint. "You're clearly dedicated to this alien search program, so why wouldn't you show off these aliens to the world to prove that life really does exist out there?"

Carrie snorted again. "What do you think I should do, hold a press conference to tell everyone I've got boobs full of aliens? Hard pass. Plus, my little buddies asked me to keep them a secret for now, especially while they're stranded here without a rescue ship or a working bio-suit for them to use so they didn't have to use my body. And on top of all that... I don't want to go job hunting again when ETSA declares 'mission accomplished' and gets shut down, because that's the kind of inane thing the CEO might do instead of providing us more funds to find more extraterrestrial life. So, instead, Aleph and Beta help me generate a slow drip of useful information that I can feed back to the higher-ups so they keep the lights on around here and then I don't have to update my CV. That's actually why you're here, I asked for a data scientist to help decipher some of the signals Beta had captured to really impress the bosses."

Carrie stretched out, as Jason fell quiet, slumping in his chair as he listened to this blonde woman with incredible boobs on a slender body talk about aliens controlling her body like she was discussing the meal she had for breakfast. Carrie thought for a moment, and then smiled as an idea came to her.

"If you're up for it, I bet they'd like to introduce themselves more formally," Carrie said, looking to Jason to see how he might react. "You might really like Beta, those nanites are quick learners and they might be a little robotic but you'll have a much easier time conversing with them instead of Aleph unless Aleph uses Beta as an interface. I guess you'd already met 'pure' Aleph, they don't know how to really speak or act like a human without Beta acting as a go-between, which is usually how their species makes contact with other life forms: the nanites absorb info about the culture and then act on the aliens' behalf to communicate. Though, I understand if you just want to get some sleep. But whatever you want to do, just say the word."

Does Jason want to meet an alien being tonight?
