Investigation pt 2

As soon as I asked the questions that little shit once again had a smug smile on his face telling me how fucked he thought I was.

Nolan: It's my older brother Michael the GM of the casino!

I couldn't believe what I was hearing didn't he realize that Michael was one of those idiots that was grabbed?

Nolan: Got nothing to say now do you!? Where is that smugness from before!? I bet that you're shitting yourself right about now aren't you!? When my brother finds out that you're detaining me against my will you going to lose that little security job of yours in fact you won't be to find a decent job ever again characters will be treated better than you!

I didn't need to say anything else rather than respond to this stupidity I just got up and went to the next cell as Nolan continued to threaten me until the door closed behind me. In the next cell was one of the security guards from earlier the one that watched as Nolan's elf was blatantly cheating during the card game.

Antonio: Judging by the fact that you aren't causing a ruckus I assume you know exactly what is happening?

Security guard: No sir, I don't but the fact that Cortona hasn't triggered any alarm means that you have authorization to do this

Antonio: So you do have a brain in that head of yours which makes me wonder why you didn't do anything when you saw that fucking idiot with the elf cheating at one of the card tables?

Security guard: So you are with a outside loss prevention firm sent by the new owner I assume well as for your question we were ordered to turn our heads from certain individuals in exchange for a cut

Antonio: Well aren't you just so open and honest, why the sudden change of heart?

Security guard: Well I am already caught no use in wasting time at least if I cooperate I might be treated better than the rest

Antonio: That's good to hear so I guess I don't need to interview the rest of the lower ranked guard then thank-you for your cooperation and if there is any more that you would like to share just let the angel outside your cell know and she will pass it along to us

I know that it wasn't possible but I hopped that the rest of the detainees would be just as cooperative as this one was and with that thought it was time to move on to the next prisoner.
