Just as Liara might’ve started to explain, rocks began to fall from above. “Shit the cavern’s going to collapse,” Shepard said. “We need to get moving or we’ll be crushed.”

They all moved to the elevator as it began to slowly move up. Liara did her best to cover. As they made their way up, there was an army of geth and a krogan waiting for them.

Liara cowered behind too embarrassed to fight while the others took out the krogan and geth. They had to run and jump onto the Normandy just as everything collapsed. “I’m sure the council will love that,” Shepard muttered. “Everyone to the debriefing room. We have a lot to discuss.”
