Get ready to leave

"I've charted the course. If we leave now and ride swiftly, it should only be a day and a half's journey eastward." Merlin says, walking to his horse.

"Then we must be on our way," Gwain says. Everyone mounted their horses and the small crew rode out onto the main road. After a while, the road thinned and turned into a rough dirt path through the forest. Merlin and Gwain were in the front of the procession, You and Arthur in the middle, and Percival and Lancelot in the back. You rode in silence for quite a while.
