Link and Zelda finally made it to the top of the cliff. The Plateau was covered in tall grass dotted with rocky hills. Upon arrival Link quickly collapsed into said grass his stamina drained.
"Link," Zelda called crawling off the heroes back and flipping him over. Link growled his breath labored yet he still manages to smile warmly at the princess to let her know he was ok. Zelda smiled and laid down beside him the tall grass tickled her bare body. They lay there for a bit while until Link regains his strength and sits up.
"Are you ready?" Zelda asks silently admiring Link's thin yet muscular torso.
"Hyah!" Link confirms.
The pair stood up and started making their way across Pierre Plateau. The journey was tenuous but simple. The only obstacle was the hilly terrain and the tall grass that occasionally scratched at their bare thighs. There was also the occasional cold breeze that sent a chill down the pairs side. Zelda would always try to counter this by quickly snuggling up the Link's side much to the hero's dismay. Finally, after nearly an hour of hiking through the vast plains the pair made their way to the Woods just outside of Kakariko village.
"Alright just a little further," Zelda remarked.
"Hmm?" Link asked.
"N-no I don't know how we'll get to Impa's house without getting spotted," Zelda frowned. "But I'm sure we'll think of something once we get there so let's go!"
And with that Zelda marched into the woods with a worried Link behind her.
