Her Part Time Job At the Lab

Samantha heard her phone suddenly ring, she looked at it to see her alarm going off.

“Ohh right, my part time job!” She said tired.

She sighed finally getting home and going into her room, she changed out of her school clothes and into a lab coat.

Samatha had got a job at some science lab to help innovate the world or whatever, testing some of their experiments out and what not.

After a while, she made it to the lab and clocked in, hoping to just get today over with as she grabbed her paycheck and stuffed in one of her pockets.

“Alright hopefully today goes well, I’ll only need to stick around till 7:00 tonight!” She thought feeling absolutely tired after all that walking.

After a while.

Samantha got into a chamber awaiting whatever she had to do first.

“Alright Samantha, are you ready for this?” Asked a scientist on the other side of the glass chamber.

“Yes sir!” She said trying to sound enthusiastic.

Another scientist came in holding something as the two of them walked out the room leaving Sam locked in the chamber.

“Did you get the special experiment?”

“Yeah, but you sure this isn’t going to backfire?”

“Nonsense we’re men of science, if it doesn’t work then we’ll just chalk it up to a minor setback.”

They went back into the room as the other scientist held the experiment in his hand.

Which was in fact..

1.) Some weird mystery gas of sorts.

2.) A weird canister holding some inky goop.

3.) A weird creature with tentacles.
