First Family Dinner

After a day of reconnecting with my brother and changing my home address in personal accounts and information, i sat down with the family for a good ole fashioned family dinner. Ava made a nice pasta dish and we sat together at the dinner table. The peaceful silence of dinner didn't last long before it was broken by Frank.

"So Cecilia theres something i wanted to bring up to you. With your uncle Phil living with us i thought maybe he could help you with some of the issues you been having in school lately."

Cecilia looked shock but her father's words and couldn't hide her blush. "Dad! We dont need to bother uncle Phil with this stuff."

"It's no bother at all Cecilia. Id be happy to help. Maybe we can talk after dinner." I say jumping at the opportunity to build trust with my ebony niece.

The rest of dinner went by smoothly after that. After the meal Cecilia went to her room while i stayed behind to do the dishes. As i cleaned the dishes i could help but notice the cold glares Ava would shoot me when Frank wasn't looking. Thats definitely something I'll have to deal with later.

But for now i wanna talk to a different member of my family.
