Escape into the cave

You make your decision and run deeper into the cave, guided by the flickering of the firefly lanterns. The floor is curiously smooth, as though many other feet have traveled this same path.

After a bit you skid to a stop in... what appears to be a tastefully-decorated cave. There's a very large bed, a rudimentary kitchen, complete with dining table, and a small sitting area.

You no longer hear the monster chasing you, giving you a moment to catch your breath. As you swallow air you notice the cave smells absolutely delicious.
