Heading over to the gym. Another sales pitch. A bit more relaxed. Getting to the girls locker room and head inside. Head over to my locker and unlock it. “Hey Veronica “ I say as she walks in as I am putting my purse bag inside my locker. “Hey Cindy how are you doing today “ Veronica says. “Doing pretty good so far” I say before taking my bikini swimsuit out of my purse bag. “How about you?” I ask. “Doing pretty good as well “ Veronica says as she gets her locker open. “That’s good “ I say as I’m putting my shirt into my locker. “Bet your glad dares are over with “ Veronica says as she takes her shirt off. “Well it wasn’t too bad mostly “ I say putting my swim top on. “Mostly?” Veronica says taking her pants off “well the issue with Carol and then the fundraiser wasn’t fun” I say taking my shorts off and putting them in my locker “yeah hopefully she will be ok” Veronica says start putting on her swimsuit. “Who” Jordan says as she walks in. “Carol “ Veronica says. “Ah ok” Jordan says opening her locker “did see her earlier so I guess she is ok” Jordan says as she takes her shirt off. “Well that’s a good sign “ I say having my bikini bottoms on and putting my shoes in my locker. “Yeah it is “ Veronica says putting her shoes in her locker and closing it. Closing my locker and locking it. Then heading through the shower area to the pool area. Getting to the pool area and see a few other girls there as well. Actually I see Carol sitting on a chair by the side wall in her regular clothes. The school is probably asking her to relax for a couple days because of what happened yesterday. Which is common procedure when a student gets hurt. Seen it happen a couple times before.

Once all the students are there ms Karlyn has us get in the pool to get use it it. Except Carol who has to sit out. Then we do a couple laps up and down the pool in groups. Once done then ms Karlyn gives us free period. We all know how to swim but at different levels. Like Yolanda who helped yesterday is actually on the school swim team who is incredible in the water but she also is a junior lifeguard during the summer. Which is probably where she learned cpr from.

“Cindy can I talk to you “ I hear and see Carol 5 feet from the pool waving to me to head to her. “Sure” I say. Getting out of the water and heading towards her. We walk over to the side wall where there is a couple chairs and sit down. “I heard about what happened at the pool yesterday and would like to thank you for what you did “ Carol says “your welcome but Yolanda helped as well “ I say. “Yes I know but your the one who dived in first and got me out “ Carol says. “Well I had the best angle and knew where you were “ I say. “Well thanks for being there “ Carol says “your welcome “ I say “also “ Carol starts to say before looking around. “What?” I ask. “Hopefully meeting my uncle wasn’t too embarrassing “ Carol says “your uncle?” I say. “Yeah Uncle Patrick at the Phoenix club “ Carol starts to say “since I wasn’t able to do the fundraiser yesterday he mentioned that you went there instead “ Carol continue to say. Ah so it was Carol who had to go home and mr skinner asked me to go. “Well my uncle Robert and uncle Ronald were there as well so no problem. “ I say “wait your uncle Robert and uncle Ronald were there?” Carol asks “yeah” I say “that means your a ((family name))” Carol says. “Yeah “ I say “so Ester is” Carol starts to say “my aunt “ I say. “Whoa “ Carol says surprised. “So we are basically family without being family “ Carol says. “Well I don’t use “that” name too often but usually just my fathers last name “ I say. “Well even your father and his side is still known by many “ Carol says. “Yeah but not as much as my mothers side” I say. “Does anyone else know about it” Carol whispers to me “a couple close friends but no one else “ I start to whisper back “but April has her suspicions “ I continue whispering. “April ? Carol asks “April sanders “ I start to say “apparently she has family connections there too “ I continue saying “Ah ok” Carol says. Well didn’t know Carol was Patrick niece as I don’t remember seeing her at any of the events. Unless she kept herself hidden somehow. Looking at the clock “well that’s all I wanted to say and I have to head in before everyone else because of what happened yesterday “ Carol says “I understand and don’t worry it’s only going to be a couple days “ I say.

Watching Carol go back into the locker room knowing in a couple minutes everyone else will be going inside as well. So I just stay there as there is no point in going back into the pool for a couple minutes. Which in a couple minutes ms Karlyn blows her whistle telling everyone to get out of the pool and into the locker room. Head into the locker room grabbing a towel on the way in. Getting into the shower first and taking bikini swimsuit off. Get washed up and rinsed. Ringing out as much water as I can from my swimsuit. Waking into the locker room area drying off while carrying my bikini. Get to my locker and unlock and open it. Grab a small plastic bag from my purse bag and putting my bikini swimsuit inside. Started putting a small plastic bag in my school bag since school started as it has come in handy like now for gym. So it’s become like something I need for school. Sometimes I use the same bag too but just make sure it’s dry first.

Dry off a bit more and then get dressed. “What did Carol want?” Veronica asks as she gets to her locker after taking a shower. “Oh we were just talking about yesterday “ I say getting my shorts on. “Is she feeling better “ Veronica asks as she opens her locker. “She seems better but you know school policy when a accident happens “ I say as I’m putting my shirt on. “Yeah you have to sit out for a couple days depending upon the circumstances “ Veronica says as she puts her pants on. “Exactly “ I say grabbing my shoes so I can put them on. Once I get my shoes on I adjust my purse bag a bit so the bag with the bikini is towards the bottom and the other stuff on top. Especially don’t want the tablet or phone to get wet. Once everything is in my purse bag I put the strap on my shoulder and then close and lock my locker. “See you at lunch “ I say to Veronica as I pass by. “Ok” Veronica says putting her shoes on.

Wait a couple minutes by the door waiting for the bell to ring. Once the bell rings I head out of the girls locker room into the hallway and head towards the cafeteria.
