Getting in goes smoothly

Johnny pulled the car around the back of a large upscale hotel before stopping and pulling out the keys.

"Am I really going to meet Ross this time?" Amanda asked, both excited and suspicious.

Johnny rolled his eyes, then gave a curt nod. "Yeah, now come on," he said, and climbed out of the car, closing it behind him.

"Shouldn't you move the car?" Amanda asked, clambering out as well, tugging her short skirt down and pushing the door shut.

"Nope. The car has to be here because you're going to bring Ross here."

"I am? How will I recognize him?" she asked, earning an incredulous look from Johnny.

"He looks just like me and he's in room 1504," Johnny said, digging out a keycard. "Take this, and the car keys. Go up and get him down here. I don't care how you do it. If anyone asks who you are or what you're doing there tell them you're a hooker."

Amanda's mouth opened to protest, but he waved her off, saying, "They won't buy it if you try to tell them you're staying here. They charge a thousand bucks a night."

Amanda gulped, her mouth snapping shut.

"Through here," Johnny said, leading her through a service entrance. He walked with her as far as a set of stairs "Alright, these stairs go all the way up. Don't use the main floor elevator or someone will stop you and see through the story. Got it?"

Johnny waited just long enough for Amanda to gulp nervously and bob her head yes, then he walked away swiftly, his gait and body language changing before her eyes.
