Where do you head to avoid King's reinforcements?
Lay low at a lakehouse
As officers of the SCPD, you knew quite well how people are tracked and followed, having done such tracking yourself. However, you'd never tracked anything quite like the two of you on the run from whatever King might send after you! You had the powers of this incredible phasebinding, synthesizing goop that could alter things on the fly, and once you'd gained some ground, the gel inside Safiya's body did just that! Any time you and she thought there was a blind spot, you'd shuffle your outer appearance, with a little help from the gel. Gone was the Demon One design of the wings with the fast and sleek sportbike look, in came a big cruiser style bike to hide Safiya's expansive curves, with a false engine on the sides in place of the plastic cowlings to complete the illusion. Tex's gel didn't stop there, making sure to put a riding suit over the Geistknight armor that you didn't know how to remove, as well as a new helmet in a different style.
If anyone was going to find you, it wouldn't be by how you looked anymore. However, you knew that just about any electronic device would be trackable, and both bodies had a few culprits that you'd both found. Stopping at a convenience store to grab a few provisions, you also took the time to hide the phones and other little devices either body carried in a ceiling panel in the bathroom.
"There you go, Artemis," you said to yourself, expecting that she was conscious the whole time. "When we let you go, you'll know where to find it, so don't blame us if you don't get these back."
Returning with some drinks, chips, and a couple of sub sandwiches for later, you put them in the saddlebags of the latest motorcycle design your partner had taken on, and sat atop her once more.
"Where are we going?" you heard Safiya's voice ask. That was such a lovely sound to hear, there was something incredible about knowing that woman was under your partner's command!
You pointed down the road at the interstate on-ramp. "We're going to head out of downtown and get a little closer to nature for a bit where it would be easier to monitor our surroundings. I know a little cabin on the lake that at the moment isn't seeing any use." You spoke vaguely, not wanting to clue in any consciousnesses listening in on how you knew anything if it that would be the puzzle piece that let them find out who you are when you let them go. Telling them that the lake house belonged to someone currently in jail for inciting violence at a political event might have been enough for them to narrow the field down.
Riding off again, you took the road slower, trying to enjoy the trip this time. You had to acclimate to the body you were in as well, feeling this sense of incredible power made you almost want to push things to your limit and try to go fast and hard through these turns, but once you calmed down, so did the body, even though you could still feel strength rippling through even your tiniest movements. Not only did Safiya's shapely form intrigue you, but you absolutely wanted to see what was under this armor of yours!
...Was that wrong? You wondered for a bit. The morals of stealing a form to save your life was one thing, weird as it was to do anything of the sort. But at what point would you draw a line? In this moment, are you a morally upstanding SCPD officer who wouldn't bring undue harm to others despite their intentions toward you, or are you someone who just wants to have fun and shun the consequences for now? If you go too far with enjoying these bodies and they find out who you are, what then..?
"Hey, so, I've been thinking," Safiya's voice rang out, interrupting your moral dilemma thoughts to your immense relief. You cranked on the throttle coming out of a big turn to gain a little more speed, heading away from civilization and into a more forested area as you listened to your partner. "I don't think I can release control on any part of my body for interrogation purposes, in case Safiya is able to say a spell or something and undo everything. So later on, when we are ready to ask questions, I'll adjust your configuration in Artemis so she can talk, but you'll keep a firm lock on the rest of her body's movements."
"I can manage that," you replied, slowing down as you reached the side roads nearing your lakeside destination, able to see the water's reflection through the trees. "And just so you're thinking about it too, generic questions only. We might not be able to get the specific info we need without giving ourselves away, but it'll be another puzzle piece to work with."
Not much further, you park in front of the 'little cabin on the lake'. In fact, the whole thing was huge! Larger than the typical family home with the wall facing the lake near entirely made of glass and still somehow seeming private on the lakefront, a lot of money went into building this hideaway. If you had to lay low for a bit, might as well do it someplace cozy.
You dismounted the Safiya-bike, running your hands along the panels and false engines one more time as you stepped back, waiting for her to transform out of her cruiser shape. As Safiya stood up, now in proper riding gear herself, the motorcycle component vanished out of phase again, if only to make it less likely to bump into things. She took the lead, orange gel forming on her hand in anticipation of meeting the front lock, the gel quickly forming keys to open the four bolt locks on the door. Opening the door, Safiya looked around for some sort of security system, but none was found.
It was only after Safiya saw the photo on the wall of someone dressed in excessively patriotic attire that your partner inside her realized where you and she were. "Oh, one of these guys, alright. Well, I won't feel bad if we don't make the beds again after we leave. Explains the lack of a security system, and I'm not picking up on any hidden systems."
"It's clear, I promise." You walked down the hall, into the expansive living area, a ring of cushy couch seats surrounding a circular indoor fireplace, with a fancy kitchen to one side and windows overlooking an incredible view to the lake on the other. You took off the helmet, and began pulling off the jacket and pants that hid the Geistknight armor underneath. With the armor included, the coverings made you look bulky, but once you were back to a knightly look, you admired your new self top to bottom in the reflection. You'd become tall, even taller than you'd been as your usual self, and could see the muscle tone on your arms as well as a face somewhere between 'sexy' and 'I mean business', with your hair, styled slightly up and back when you'd first seen it with a slight undercut on either side, though after wearing a helmet it pushed forward into a new sexy style too.
Realizing someone else had been a bit quiet, you tapped your forehead. "Hey, uh... you still with us?"
"I am," you felt your mouth say quietly, as Angel Seven spoke up. "I'm just enjoying the ride, I'll be quiet unless you need anything from me. Just glad to be safe and sound, is all. I've got a lot to think about, so you keep doing what you're doing for now, I promise I'll chime in later. Just know that I feel incredible, though I know some of that's coming from you too."
Satisfied, you smiled at your reflection one last time. "Incredible's the only word I keep thinking, myself. So, do we start with questions, or--"
As you turned around to find Safiya to get a read on a gameplan, you found that she'd come up right behind you, putting her hands to your face and pulling you in for a deep kiss! It seems you'd found her top priority. You put your powerful arms as gently as you could manage around this incredibly shapely woman, who herself stood tall but still below your new height, squeezing her ample rear through the motorcycle riding suit she still wore. Your body felt a wave of shock run through it as well as your own pangs of pleasure--perhaps the shock came from Artemis herself? You didn't know if she liked it or not, but you didn't care. Even if these two knew each other professionally, it seems you were going to give them a far more intimate introduction to one another.
Your eyes closed, you felt Safiya's smooth fingers run along your face and neck, then through your hair, as she pushed against you with a forceful eagerness, where the kiss wasn't enough. She'd put all her emotions in this embrace, and when you and she broke the kiss to catch your respective breaths, you saw a tear running down her smiling face.
"I'm just happy that you're okay, that we're okay. My plan went so far awry, even now that we took these bodies, it feels like the hole I dug is pretty deep."
You shook your head. "We couldn't have known what was going to happen, we're here because you knew what to do to save us. ...But, if you want to make it up to me with that body of yours, I won't complain either..."
Grinning, you pulled Safiya back in for another kiss, tumbling down to the cozy couch seats as you maintained your embrace.
"Though, it might be helpful to know more about 'us' in order to better fit into our roles as these two. Maybe some questions would give us some insight as to what sort of bodies we're even dealing with."
