He destroys the evidence and gets rid of Cheryl

After freezing her for the eleventh time, Sam had his fun. He knew he wanted this device, and he knew that he needed to make sure no one else could get it or find out what happened. He went into Cheryl's office and dug around the entire place. He found every schematic, every file, or anything mentioning the creation of the device and destoryed it. This way if people came looking for Cheryl, they would not find evidence of a remote. Next he made a mess of the place and made it look like Cheryl left in a hurry, and that she could have simply left.

After establishing the story he needed to decide what to do with Cheryl. He could leave her unfrozen, that could create problems for him. He decided to tie her up for now, her body did not resist as he picked her up and duct taped her hands, legs, and mouth to a chair. He decided his plan was to unfreeze her just to gloat to her about his possession of the device, then freeze, drive her out to a remote place, and leave her there forever frozen and never to be found.

With the press of a button Cheryl unfroze and found herself unable to move or talk. She was scared, she realized that she must have done something that caused the remote to act on her, and somehow unfreeze Sam. She paniced as the device could start up by itself if acted upon, which could doom the world if one was not careful. All this was running through her mind as Sam began to talk. "I unfroze you Cheryl, because I want to thank you. If you didn't freeze me, fuck me, and then stupidly loop yourself you could have had all the fun in the world. I have studied this remote, and I want it for myself. And me having it, and you remaining in the picture don't mix. In one minute you're going to be frozen for the rest of time. I destroyed all evidence of the remote, and there will be no one looking for you with what I've done to the place. I'll leave you in a place no one will find you, and even if they did, they can't unfreeze you"

Cheryl tried to plead for her life, she was screaming and trying to break free, but she could not. Her lifelong obsession was going to be the end of her. And with one last scream of NO!, she was frozen. Sam was delighted, he looped Cheryl screaming NO! and it made him feel so powerful! He paused her again, put her in a garbage bag while she was still tied up, and put her in the back of her car, and he began the drive to get rid of Cheryl.
