Embarrassing success

Get out of the classroom and head to the nearest girls bathroom. Once inside I use the toilet. Normally I would wait until I get home but today it’s going to be a while so better get it done now. Once done I use the sink to clean up a bit. Then put the strap of my purse bag on my shoulder and head out of the washroom into the hallway. Then head down the hallways to the main office.

Head inside and see mr Skinner talking to Mrs Carolyn the superintendent of the school district. They see me walk in “Ah ms Sorenson your here good “ mr skinner says. “Been a while Cindy “ mrs Carolyn says. “Hello mr skinner and mrs Carolyn “ I say. “As I was telling John that I already contacted the people we are going to meet about your clothing situation and they said it was no problem and so you don’t have to worry about putting any clothes on “ mrs Carolyn says “who are we going to meet mrs Carolyn?” I ask “Don’t have to worry about that as me and Jane will be doing most of the talking “ mr skinner says. “He’s right. “Mrs Carolyn starts to say “as your role is mainly as the student representative “ she continues saying. “Ok” I say. “We better get going “ mr skinner says “ok let’s go “ mrs Carolyn says “come on Cindy “ mrs Carolyn says as she heads towards the office door.

Head out of the office following mr skinner and Mrs Carolyn. Head down the hallway and out the door to outside. Heading over to the teachers and staff parking lot. “Hey where’s my car” mr skinner says. The three of us start looking around. “Is that it” I say pointing up to the roof of one of the buildings. “Yeah that’s it” mr skinner says. “Well looks like a student just did a dare with your car today John “ mrs Carolyn says smiling. “Well need to get a crane to get it down as can’t just drive it down “ mr skinner says. “Well no time to wait for that as we need to get to the meeting “ mrs Carolyn says. “Let’s head to my car and you can call for assistance on the way “ mrs Carolyn continue to say. The student or students probably took the car apart and put it back together on the roof is the only way I could see it being done. Not sure how long it took them either. Maybe all school day.

We head over to Mrs Carolyn dodge caravan and get in. Which I get in the back seat. Plenty of room and spacious. Pretty comfortable too. Mrs Carolyn drives and mr skinner is on his cell phone calling to find out who can get his car down from the roof. Around 15 minutes later “ok all set and they said it should be down in a couple hours “ mr skinner says “that’s good and we should be done by then too” mrs Carolyn says.

Takes around 10 more minutes to get to where we are going. Mrs Carolyn pulls in and finds a parking spot. Looking out the window to where we are. “Oh no …. Not here” I say to myself “anywhere but here” I say to myself in a panic. Because we are at the Phoenix club. Don’t think mr skinner and Mrs Carolyn know about my family ties here. “Ok let’s go in” mrs Carolyn says as she opens her door. Mr skinner opens his door too. “Come on Cindy “ mr skinner says standing outside before he closes the door. “This is not going to be good “ I say to myself as I open the door and get out. Making sure I got my purse bag with me just in case before closing the door. Following mr skinner and Mrs Carolyn into the club. We head to the front desk and see Mrs Carolyn talking to the person. A couple minutes later a waitress comes and we follow her. We seem to be heading to the meeting rooms. Looking around while following and do notice a couple people I know. Hopefully they didn’t see me. The waitress opens one of the doors and has us go inside. “Have a seat and they will be here shortly “ she says. “Thank you “ mrs Carolyn says. We head to one side of the table and sit down. A couple minutes later the door opens and four people walk in. All 4 I know because 2 are my uncles and one is a aunt and the other is a family friend that we all know. They run this club. “Kill me now “ I say in my mind.

“Welcome to the Phoenix club mrs Carolyn and mr skinner “ one uncle says. “Thanks for agreeing to meet with us today “ mrs Carolyn says. “Your welcome and we are always looking to help the community when we can “ the same uncle says. Which is true as they have donated time and money to various events and causes through the years. Mrs Carolyn and mr skinner start talking about the fundraiser for the school and what it’s to be used for. Five minutes later the waitress comes into the room with various drinks for everyone and some snacks. Which I notice she put my usual in front of me. Mr skinner and Mrs Carolyn don’t seem to notice as they are more focused on their talk. There seems to be various interactions between both sides Following along and trying not to say anything. As they said in the office I am just the student representative and they will do all the talking. After about a hour of them talking “let’s hear from the student representative that came today “ the owner says which he is the family friend. He also knows about the businesses that I own. “I was afraid this was going to happen “ I say to myself. Mr skinner and Mrs Carolyn look at each other and start whispering to each other. Because I am not supposed to be talking but they are now in a corner of the negotiation. After a minute mrs Carolyn turns to me and whisper “ talk but stay positive as we need this “. Going into business mode I start talking about the benefits of this fundraiser. Remembering everything that everyone said up to this point I go into full negotiation mode. Pointing out all the positive aspects of this fundraiser and what they benefit from it as well. This is so embarrassing as everyone is looking at me but I get through it. Not about what I am saying but the fact that I am naked while doing it. Ugh. After I finish talking all four of the restaurant start talking to each other in a whisper. After a couple minutes “ok you got your donation and our support “ the owner says. Everyone starts shaking hands. Even me. My aunt and uncles whisper to me “great job niece “. Ugh. Getting compliments from family while naked. Not sure what is more embarrassing. Luckily mr skinner and Mrs Carolyn didn’t hear or it might of been even more embarrassing.

We say our good byes making sure we have everything and head out of the room and through the restaurant and out the door. On the way to the car “you did great back there “ mr skinner says “thanks “ I say. “Very impressive Cindy “ mrs Carolyn says. “Ever think of running a business one day “ mrs Carolyn says as she unlocks the doors so we can open them. “Not sure yet” I say as I enter the car. Not letting them know that I already do. “Well you can make a good owner or manager one day “ mr skinner says.

Mrs Carolyn starts the car and we start heading back to the school. Wondering if and when my parents are going to find out about what happened. Not to mention if they found out that I was naked there as well. Ugh. So embarrassing. Why did it have to be there on a day like this. Well 25 minutes later we arrive back at the school. Looks like the crane is here and is lowering mr skinner car down from the roof. “Ok you two have a good day and stay safe “ mrs Carolyn says. “You too” both of us say as we get out of the car. Making sure I have my purse bag with me as I get out. Watch as mrs Carolyn drives away. Mr skinner is walking over to where they are putting his car down.

Now the question is how am I getting home.
