Chapter 4 by Doom911 Doom911

Who had the spell affected though?

Both of them

Panic would be of no use Raven knew this, she groaned not certain if her throbbing head was from the spell going awry or from hitting the opposite wall. Rubbing the slowly forming bruise she began collecting various fetishes and trinkets from her shelf. A silver crystal with some red liquid began to pulse in her hand. "That does not seem like a good sign friend Raven." Star set floating over her shoulder.

"That's because it isn't" Raven handed the divining crystal to Starfire that began to glow just as bright. "That jewel lighting up means we're both infected by this "absolute gullibility" curse. We've got to be careful about what we hear and what we say to each other." She paused nothing about what she said would give her friend any impression but she had to be just right in what she said. She'd hate to insult her friend and give them the idea that they work as a whore or something like those cheesy smuts Beastboy insists he gets as a joke. Starfire began to say something before a shadowy tentacle reached around her mouth gagging her. "Think about what you need to say first and write it down I don't know if reading something will trigger the curse but better safe than sorry." she cursed herself wondering if any of that might trigger it. She needed some kind of counter to the spell or warning device but everything around her was a ticking time bomb. She breathed focusing herself.

Raven began to check her desk for some dry paper, her hair soaked and dripping down her wet clinging clothes chilling her to the bone. She handed the paper and a pen to Star. "Here write what you wanted to say."

Starfire paused pointing at her gag a bit of drool was beginning to dribble out as she tried to breath through her nose. Raven shook her head and pointed to the paper, Star moaned in protest but began to write.

What is Starfire writing?
