That night when the congregation met in the big tent, Brielle went forward at the invitation to receive Christ and repent of her sins. Every person in the tent was silent as they watched Brielle walk to the podium where pastor George stood.

To say Brielle was not nervous about deceiving the people round her, especially pastor George, would have been a lie. Thoughts swirled around in her head as she took each step, feeling like lead weights were attached to her ankles. This was no ordinary deception, and she knew it. Not only was she deceiving pastor George and the entire congregation, but she was also deceiving the love of her life, Jillian.

Tears started to fall from her eyes as the guilt began to **** her. If something went wrong, she could lose everything. She didn't want to lose Jillian, and she didn't want to lose the church. They were both so important to her. "Dear Jesus forgive me for what I'm about to do," she thought silently to herself. She could not help but feel this was for the greater good, for Jillian, the church, and Jesus.

Pastor George looked upon her as she walked towards him. He smiled as he saw the tears falling from her eyes. "These are tears of repentance," he thought to himself. To him this was a special moment. Brielle meant a lot to him, and he secretly wanted her. Turning her away from being a Lesbian was the first step in his goal to have her for himself. He descended from the podium and met Brielle with a warm embrace.

Brielle welcomed his embrace, ignoring the fact that it felt different from all the other times he hugged her. In her guilt she failed to recognize it was more like the embrace of a lover and not that of a friend. She cried on his shoulder as he whispered into her ear, "I've been praying for this moment for a long time. I'm glad you came forward." She smiled at him, nervously, as he dried her tears and turned her to face the congregation.

"This little lamb has come home to Jesus," pastor George began. "She has decided to forsake the ways of the world and give up her Lesbianism. Isn't tha5t right Brielle?"

Brielle looked at the congregation. There was not a dry eye in the crowd assembled. "That's right, pastor George. Jillian and I have decided to repent of our Lesbianism and go straight. I am here to repent of my sins and ask Jesus to come into my heart."

Everyone stood up and began to applaud Brielle's words. The pastor pulled her close to him. "If it would be all right, I would like to come to your house for dinner sometime this week. It is important that I speak with you and Jillian and help to reaffirm your decision."

"Yes, of course pastor," answered Brielle. "Will Friday work for you?" She said this without thinking.

"Friday will be fine," smiled the pastor. "Let's make it around sevenish. I'll bring my wife along. She's been dying to meet both of you and talk to both of you outside the church. I hope that's alright with both of you."

"Sure, that would be fine," she answered. "I look forward to getting to know her better."

Brielle had no idea of the rabbit hole she had just opened up for herself and Jillian. Right now, she was just happy as everyone now came up to her and embraced her warmly as a repentant sinner.
