Pros and Cons of Avatars + Luke's 3 Wishes
“What Happened? Did you defeat the Lich?” Queen Taylor Swift asked walking to Luke.
“Long story, but yes, and I …” Luke replied before he was swarmed.
Everyone crowded around the palace throne. Each of Luke’s women fought for his attention. Only the women who participated in the Baking Contest stayed back.
“Well, that escalated quickly,” Samantha said watching the chaos.
“Right? … this whole thing got out of hand fast,” Keyleth said admiring Luke’s new crown.
“Luke is one lucky guy. First, he survived becoming a demi-god. Second, he convinced Dr. Blood to have a formal contest. Only for the “fight” to end with the Arbiter decreeing him the ‘God of Siring’ and King of Atlantis,” Sabrina said in astonishment.
“It’s almost like he is the main character of a power fantasy,” Samantha said with a snort.
“Hey, do you think my baking was better than the Lich’s?” Sabrina asked turning to the other two level 20 Life Witches.
“Ladies Please!” Luke shouted.
Flash!
Suddenly Luke disappeared from the throne. A moment later 10 identical Luke Smiths appeared standing around the room. Everyone froze in alarm.
“Please, one question at a time,” the Luke army said as one.
Over the next hour, Luke explained everything he knew. He broke his women into smaller groups. Luke gave each group an avatar to answer their individual questions. It helped that Luke could easily control each avatar after the initial mana cost of its creation.
Luke’s Jinn bodyguards (Willow, Thorn, Viper, and Nectar) had a Luke all to themselves.
“So, which is the real body?” Willow the head bodyguard asked.
“They are all real,” Luke said before reconsidering the question.
“But to the heart of your inquiry. My mind, soul, mana, and auras are equally shared between my avatars. It will take some experimenting to see if my avatars share pain and injuries,” Luke said before eyeing his hands in curiosity.
Luke looked around, before suddenly transforming into a white human-tiger hybrid. Only one of Luke’s avatars shifted. The other Lukes stayed the same. A few of the other groups noticed Tiger Luke but didn’t walk over. Instead, they asked their nearest Luke what was going on.
“Good. I am the only one that changed,” Tiger Luke thought.
“Moment of truth,” Tiger Luke said before proceeding to rake a tiger claw across his left arm.
Luke’s Jinn bodyguards watched with concern as they saw him draw blood.
“Nothing,” all the other Lukes thought as they watched their left arms for injuries.
The bodyguards watched as Tiger Luke healed his druid form.
“But, what if someone else attacks you?” Thorn asked pulling out a dagger.
“Give it a try,” Tiger Luke said after healing his claw injury.
Thorn slashed Luke’s right arm.
“Luke!” everyone screamed.
“Sorry! Don’t mind the blood,” all the Lukes said as they covered their identical injuries.
“Your bodies share injuries if someone other than you caused it,” Thorn said eyeing her knife.
Each of Luke’s avatars had to heal their own personal cuts.
“Thorn, do it again, but Nectar heal me right after,” Tiger Luke said holding out his arm.
Just like before, Thorn’s single slash affected all 10 avatars. But luckily, Nectar’s single healing spell also affected all 10 avatars.
“This is dangerous. One cut becomes 10 cuts. Imagine if all your avatars were attacked. 10 cuts would become 100,” Nectar said concerned.
The true cost of avatar magic hung in the air for a long moment.
“If this is true for avatar magic … maybe my pregnancy spell affected all of Aphrodite’s avatars,” Tiger Luke thought to himself.
“Hmm, I should probably keep one avatar in a safe place. That way I could dispel any avatars in trouble. Thus, preventing any avatar from compromising my safety,” Tiger Luke said coolly.
Nectar the Jinn healer stepped closer.
“Try to limit your avatars … healing isn’t as fast as damaging,” Nectar said with concern.
“She is right. And … Dr. Blood might not be able to attack Atlantis’s people anymore, but he can still seek **** on you,” Willow said with a frown.
“Ya …” Tiger Luke said still considering the pros and cons of avatars.
A moment later Tiger Luke transformed back into his human form.
“My avatars might not be good for fighting, but …” Luke said as he summoned 3 more avatars.
Each of the heavily pregnant Jinn bodyguards was suddenly hugged from behind. All four Lukes began rubbing their partner's large pregnant belly.
“I still could make love to more of you this way,” as each Luke purred into his partner's ear.
All of Luke’s bodyguards rolled their eyes but couldn’t help but smile.
One of Luke’s avatars took Princess Luna aside.
“What did you want? And why am I here? Shouldn’t I be serving Dr. Blood?” Luna asked confused.
“I need to show you this,” Luke said as he held out her Genie Lamp.
“You, have it?” Lune asked in surprise.
“Ya, the Arbiter said you belong to me. Sorry for **** you during my fight with the Lich,” Luke said rubbing his neck.
“Oh, …” Lune said reminded of Luke’s singing about war and their brief sexual encounter.
“Are you the real avatar?” Luna asked eyeing her Lamp.
“Yes, magical items don’t get replicated when I make new bodies,” Luke said handing Luna the lamp.
“Why? Are you …” Luna asked taking her golden prison in her hands.
“I shouldn’t hold onto something so important. You could be taken from me,” Luke said before looking up and meeting Luna’s eyes.
“I know I get three wishes. I will make this quick. I am the newly appointed King of Atlantis. I wish for all Sirens would accept and love me as their ruler. I also wish that all my magical baby mamas would gain the ability to freeze their pregnancies a week before they're due to give birth. This way they can choose when they're ready for kids,” Luke said as he considered the soon-to-come Siren Baby Boom.
Luna’s eyes lost focus as her ‘Mental Energy’ was drained into her Lamp before bursting out and changing the world to Luke's wishes.
Later all of Luke's magical baby mamas living on Earth would come to learn the spell 'Baby Pause'.
'Baby Pause' Spell: Pause the progression of a pregnancy 1 week before the child is due.
None of Luke's women with 'Baby Fever' used 'Baby Pause'. In contrast, most Sirens used the spell. Only 20% of the 20,000 Sirens of Atlantis elected to give birth when their children were due. The remaining 16,000 Sirens citizens chose to stay pregnant indefinitely (or until they were ready to start a family.)
Visits to Atlantis would come to call the giant population of pregnant women the "City of Bellies".
“It is done, … What is your third wish, Master?” Luna said out of habit.
“I wish for you, Princess Luna, to be free from your prison sentence as a Genie,” Luke said happily.
Luna’s eyes grew wide as her golden bracers suddenly fell to the ground. A moment later Luna’s golden lamp and manacles faded away.
