Chatting

As the bell rings I head straight to my locker. Getting the occasional photos and sometimes the touching and feeling but surprisingly students are being respectful. Unlike the other day when I was being dragged around the halls by Mr Skinner. But they didn’t know it was me. Does knowing it’s me make a difference. Maybe??not sure. Which if I knew they were going to be like this I would of done this sooner. Maybe it’s just the dare thing that allows it. Not sure. Maybe can test that another day. But right now I am getting hungry. Getting to my locker and unlock and opening it. Putting my backpack inside and get my wallet and phone out of the side pocket. Closing and locking the locker.

Getting over to the cafeteria was pretty easy. Getting in line. See some students looking my way and occasionally a student will come up and take a picture. But this is nothing compared to the beginning of the school day. Especially the first two classes in the halls. Grabbing a tray and looking at the food choices. Getting a 8 inch cheese pizza and 6 mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce on the side and a Dr Pepper. Fridays usually have the best food options. Yummy. Paying and then going to the usual lunch spot. “Hi everyone “I say when I get there and sit down. “Hey Cindy “ “hi Cin” “hi Cindy “ “hey love “ everyone says. “How’s everyone day been already “ I say as I start eating “not too bad but trying to figure out tonight though “ Jen says “what’s going on tonight ?” Veronica asks “well it’s movie night but I want to bring Susan with “ Jen says “so what’s the problem “ I ask before taking a bit of a mozzarella stick “well it’s 3 people but she drives too” Jen says “why not just pick up Susan at her house or have her meet at one of your houses and just leave from there” Mary says “exactly and there is no question as to who’s driving or worry about waiting for someone when getting to the movies “ Sarah says “that does make sense and a lot easier too” Jen says “problem solved “ Veronica says. “Cheers to that” I say holding up my drink and everyone taps it. “I’ll text her now to let her know “Jen says as she gets her phone and starts typing. “Speaking of going out “I start to say”how is Saturday night looking “ I finish saying before I start eating some pizza. “Everything is set and scheduled “ Veronica says “that’s good “ I say “what about you Cindy for the convention “ Sarah asked. “Everything is done and set and be done in time for the evening plans” I say “just have to find a way to get there” I finish saying before start eating again. “Sarah can drive you in the morning “ Mary says “right?” Mary continue saying looking over at Sarah . “Sure I am usually up early on a Saturday anyway “ Sarah says “not me as I like to sleep in” Veronica says “same with me as I don’t like getting up early on a weekend “ Jen says. Yeah I would be surprised to see Jen or Veronica up on a Saturday before noon. Actually everyone here knows those two don’t like getting up early unless they have to like for school b “What time you need to leave “ Sarah asks “9am or 9:30am as it doesn’t open until 10am” I say almost finished eating “how about 9:30am then that way you get there when it’s just opening and don’t have to wait long to get in” Sarah says. “Sounds like a plan “ I say. “Sounds like everyone and everything is set for the weekend then “Jen says “indeed and going to be fun” Veronica says smiling.

“Still can’t believe you came to school like that Cindy “Mary says “well wasn’t my choice but a dare is a dare” I say wondering how long until they figure out that I put that dare in. “True but I do wonder who and why someone would do that “ Jen says “well many people know Cindy from various things she has done here so not like students don’t know her “ Sarah says “not saying people don’t know her but who would put a dare on her “ Jen says “well a couple people come to mind but they didn’t come to school today “Mary says “how convenient for them” Veronica says.

Just then my phone vibrates. That’s odd because I very rarely get a text during lunch. Looking at my phone it’s from CT Products inc. Hmm that’s odd as that’s my brand. Let’s see what is up. “Hi sorry to bother you at this time but thought we let you know that we are starting to set up at the convention center for the Lesbian Convention this year as we been asked to showcase your products and hopefully this will help spread the word about more organic makeup and other products out there “ the text says. Ah ok. The convention must of contacted the distribution company directly instead of through our website. Because I usually go though these types of emails but didn’t see anything. Nothing new though as this has happened a couple times before and the distribution center just keeps me informed when they go. “That’s fine and keep me informed if any problems or questions come up” I text back. “Will do “ they text back. Well I guess I’ll be seeing my own booth at the convention. A welcome surprise for the weekend.

As I put my phone down and start following the conversation again. “Well I’m surprised no one put your name down Veronica to go topless considering how many boys you flash during gym class “ Sarah says “well that’s all in fun and you wouldn’t see me doing that just anywhere “ Veronica says. “Even so …you do admit that going topless would be a better dare for someone like you then for Cindy to go naked “ Sarah says “yeah I see your point there” Veronica says

Noticing the time. “Let’s clean up and get headed to our next class as the faster I can finish this day the better “ I say as I start getting my stuff together “don’t blame you there Cindy “ Jen says. We get cleaned up and garage thrown out and trays returned to the bin. Getting ready for the bell so I can finish this day off as there are two more periods left.
