2 Weeks Later

Diana had been very careful the last few weeks. She had managed to avoid any more public nudity and Clark had talked Lois out of running her story. Though she had never answered them when asked if she deleted the footage. Diana chose to ignore that. The only loose end was Cheetah and it was unlikely that anyone would believe her even if she said anything.

That only left the 'gift' itself. Ares was right, as long as she had it she would always be tempted to use it. She had to find a way to get rid of it which meant going back to the Gods who had given it to her. Clark disagreed, said it would only cause more than it solved. As much as she liked having someone mature she could talk about this, he didn't really understand the way Greek Gods worked.

"I can't keep going like this," Diana said one day in the Hall of Justice meeting room, away from the others. "Whenever I do anything as Wonder Woman, I'm worried about ending up naked in front of everyone."

"You could just keep your clothes on and ignore the 'gift'". Clark said as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.

"It doesn't work like that," Diana said exasperated. "Gods are easily offended. If I ignore their 'gift' for too long, they might punish me with something worse."

"What could be worse than this?" Clark asked.

"Knowing Zeus, I'm pretty sure we don't want to know." Diana hoped that that would be enough to convince him of the seriousness of the problem.

"Ok, so say I agree with you." Clark said finally giving her some breathing room. "What's the next step?"

"Well, first." Diana said thinking. She wasn't sure she would get this far. "We need an audience with the Gods."

"We?"

"You're not coming?" Diana asked surprised. He'd supported her this far.

"Well, I just assumed this was a Themyscira thing so I wouldn't be allowed to go."

"The Gods don't live in Themyscira, they live on Olympus." Diana explained.

"And I'm allowed to go there?" Clark asked concerned.

"Sort of."

"What's 'sort of?'" Clark asked alarmed.

"Technically, mortals aren't allowed there unless they're invited and we'll be showing up unannounced which could be a problem."

Clark didn't look happy or particularly satisfied that this was going to work. "You sure this is a good idea?"

"The alternative being be stripping naked every other fight? Yes, I do." Diana said shivering slightly at the memory of flying naked through Metropolis and confronting Ares.

"So how do we get to Olympus?" Clark asked.

"I'm not entirely sure." Diana admitted sheepishly.

"Who would know?" Clark asked.

Diana hadn't decided on that part yet. There were a few people who could help her get to Olympus. The first and most obvious were the Amazons but going to Themysicra would mean leaving Clark behind and she had come to appreciate his help in all this and, truth be told, she didn't really mind him seeing her naked as much as others.

Then again there were several magic based superheroes like Zatanna or Dr Fate. One of them could be able to get passage to Olympus. Though it would likely mean having to explain her 'condition' to them and if their meeting with Zeus went poorly, he could take out his frustration on whoever helped her.

There was a third option which Diana hated to even consider. Ares. He would know a way there and he was already hated by the Gods but even if he did help what price would he demand in return? Was it worth it?

Diana stopped to ponder her options and weigh the good and the bad.
