Eventually she gets home

Katie walked back inside looking pleased and with a little spring in her step. “Hey, how’d it go?” You ask her, genuinely curious and a little anxious about the whole thing. “Oh it was good! He’s great. Super nice and very friendly.” She said with a smile. “He even invited me to come over to his pool, anytime I want! We won’t have to trek all the way out to the beach, or go to those filthy public pools anymore!” She said, sounding excited. You had to keep yourself from grimacing. Your wife going over your old bully’s place in a swimsuit was hardly the outcome you’d hoped for. It seemed obvious that Brian was going to recognize you eventually, so maybe it was better to just go over there to his pool and reintroduce yourself. Although… maybe if you let Katie get to know Brian, then she’d realize how much of a douche he was.
