Rose pushes the issue hating to see Tonk upset

"No, I might be a dumb American. But I can see an upset woman. I won't go in there until you tell me why you're sad." Rose said speculating about why Tonks is unhappy.

Tonks gives a huff before saying. "Since I don't know you or probably won't have any contact with you after this. I guess I can tell you. One of my mentors died over the summer. I have been grieving about that for the whole summer. But last week, his friend and I went out together. We told stories about this man, then ended up kissing. He pulls back from me. Telling me he couldn't date a younger woman or pass on his genetics to me. And I have been hurting ever since."

Fucking Lupin. She likes Lupin, her old defense against the dark arts teacher. Rose tries to think about this information, not believing this. Her old self did have a small crush on the violent purple hair witch from last year. She wonders if she should try to hit on her.

Tonks said. "Yeah, so I don't know if I should pursue him or just let him finish mourning his best friend. What should I do?" She asks Rose for her opinion. She could help the werewolf man and helps him build a strong relationship with her, or Rose could try to discover Tonks's body for herself.
