Meditating

I cast Dark Weapon while thinking of a Katana. I feel something moving on my right arm and look at it. I see a small wave of shadows running down my arm and extending down to my arm. It then turns into a handle and continues up it to make a guard and blade. I smile and do the math real quick. It'll deal 204 base damage, that's actually more than I thought. With my 75% Strength added to it, it'll do 564. I think before sitting down.

"What are doing?" Prisma asks me.

"You said I have an hour and a half, so I figured I'd get a new spell." I answer and he nods with a smile. I start Meditating while thinking of my Darkness School and something that is fast and strong. After a while, I feel someone shake my shoulder. I open my eyes to see Prisma.

"It's been an hour. You don't have much time." He says and I thank him. I open my notifications and smile.

New Skill: Dark Cutter Lvl 1

Dark Cutter allows you to send a wave of Darkness from your shadow. The wave deals your Intelligence as damage and is incredibly tough and sharp. It is almost impossible to break and can cut through nearly anything. MP Cost: 75

Thunder has Evolved into Dark Bolt

Dark Bolt Lvl 1

Dark Bolt is like Thunder, in that it is incredibly fast. It moves from the caster's palm to the target in a split second. The spell can't arc to others like the original Thunder could. It deals 40% of your Intelligence as damage and adds 20% to any weapon. MP Cost: 15

"Did you get anything good?" Prisma asks and I nod.

"Yep, they're perfect." I say and he nods.

"Then it's time to finish the fight. Good luck. Oh and come visit tonight, I have something to talk about."

"Okay, I'll see you tonight." I say before leaving, by casting Exit Dungeon. I immediately see the Werewolf's claws a foot away from me. Fortunately, everything slowly speeds back up to normal, including my own body. So I don't panic too much. That said I do still Blink away and jump back, hitting my back against the wall. The crash violently reminds me of the wound on my side. I grit my teeth and see the wolf slowly turn to me. I store my Katana away and cast Dark Weapon. I think of a Katana and it forms the same way as before. I then charge the wolf, casting Dark Bolt and Demonic Flare on my weapon. I duck under its claws as it swipes me and cut along its chest before backing up.

I send two Dark Cutters at him. They appear behind me and travel straight toward the wolf. They are dark, just like shadows, and look like a large shark fin almost as tall as my shoulders. They each hit him before he jumps back.

The wolf howls angrily, at least as far as I can tell. It starts growling and slowly walks towards me. It bears its claws before lunging for me. I Blink to the side and cut down on him, this time cutting him.

He slams his shoulder into my side, the same with the wound, and knocks me over.

I Blink away before he hits the ground where I was. I jump up since Blinking keeps me in the position I was in. I turn to the wolf just in time to duck under its claws. I cut along its side as I run forward.

I turn to face him and see him growling at me. He gets on all fours and lunges at me. He's on top of me before I can cast Blink. He grabs my arm holding my Dark Weapon and I Multicast Draconic Ice and freeze his arm.

I see his arm freeze and immediately Multicast Dark Cutter, sending them at him.

Legendary Item Drop

The Werewolf goes limp with the frozen arm still connected to me. I pull him off and he falls, his body starting to disappear. I pick up and Observe the item it dropped.

Werewolf Armlet Lvl 55, Legendary

This armlet contains the power of a Werewolf created by Bergeths magic. It gives the wearer the beast's high Agility and Strength. Gives +30 STR, +30 AGI, +15 END, +8 WIS, +250 Max HP, and +100 Max MP.

I smile and equip it, replacing my Ancient Beast Bracelet. It gave me 10 STR, 5 END, 2 WIS, 50 Max HP, and 15 Max MP. I open my notifications, hoping I got more Milestones.

New Skill: Lighting Step Lvl 1

Lightning Step lets the caster travel as fast as Lightning. It can only be used if the caster is inherently fast enough. The caster also has to be tough enough, otherwise, the spell will destroy the muscles in the caster's legs. Many think of this spell as teleportation, due to how fast it makes you. MP Cost: 100.

New Skill: Flame King Lvl 1 (MAX), Passive

Flame King is a skill that gives one the ability to rule all fire. The user becomes immune to all forms of fire. They can freely manipulate fire, not made by mana. They can use the fire to do anything, from creating a bridge to walk across or a set of armor to protect them.

Congratulations! You're now able to use the full power of your Ancient Beast Katana! It'll now deal its full 2000 Damage instead of 500.

I smile as I read this and feel a bit of pride. I take a deep breath and turn to the door where Bergeths Soul Fragment rests.
