Bet a SlaveToon Studio Pass

“I have here a pass for three people to go on a tour of SlaveToon studios where you can ‘talk’ with the character-actresses,” Collins proclaimed as he slapped down the pass. Looking it over, it looked to be the real deal. “I was going to give it to Billy but the little shit got himself arrested for being an idiot.”

“What did he do now?” Don Hanover groaned. The large man shook his head in exasperation.

“He broke into one of my stores and stole some girls to give to his ‘friends’,” Collins angrily explained. “I might disapprove of his friends but he could’ve just gone in during the day and picked some up. Instead the police picked him up while his ‘friends’ ran.”

“I told you, you should of sent him to that Spartan Boot Camp I recommended,” Hoofer said as he looked at the pass in interest.

“I considered it but I figured a Kratos trained Billy would just be a bigger problem.”

“Hmm, to each their own,” Hoofer shrugged before he placed about five thousand dollars worth of chips on top of the pass. You check your cards, a double Aces, and decide you will go for that pass. You could take Antonio and Larry for a guys night if your schedules line up.

“I raise you a Brisk Ponygirl Carriage Deluxe,” Don says as he puts the title of an expensive model of carriage on the pile along with two thousand dollars of chips.

“I almost forgot you also had a little stable of ponies,” Hoofer commented as he checked his cards. “How’s the Kim Possible holding up?”

“She’s been sick a little but my Hello Nurse is saying she should be good if she rests up.”

“I could have my ponygirl vets take a look at her if you bring her around,” Hoofer offered with a nod of his head. “We can drink some of my Jedi wine while they check her out.”

“Let's see if that offer is still open by the end of the night,” Don chuckled as adjusted his red tie. Your dad calls and puts eight thousand in the pot; you do the same. Don takes three cards from the top of the deck and places them in the middle of the table, a three of hearts, 10 of clubs, and an ace of diamond.

You try to hide your tells as you realize that you have a Three of a Kind in the works. Collins rechecked his cards which one of your plants tell you is either a queen and jack or a jack and king. He raises sixteen thousand causing Hoofer to grimace and fold revealing that he had a nine of spade and a two of club.

“I put up my Temari, she’s worth thirty,” Don said; you could hear a gasp from the characters and as you looked, you could see the Naruto girls looking at the Temari. The Temari just crossed her arms and gritted her teeth as her collar sparked a bit.

“I think I’ll fold as well,” your dad sighs as he throws away his cards, revealing a nine and and four.

“I bet my Gogo who is worth twenty-five along with 5 thousand dollars in chips,” you say as you feel Gogo glaring at the back of your head. Don nods and selects another card from the pile. It was a five of hearts.

“Is that Gogo also from Blazing Hoof?” Hoofer asks as he looks at your Gogo Tomago.

“Yup, Diana convinced me to get her whole team,” you say proudly. “They have so far been great to have around the house. The Marinette even created the clothes my characters are wearing.”

“I still don’t know why my grandson bought that Marinette, he should have known they are clumsy unless they have that magic thing from their show. Forget what they’re called,” he says, scrunching up his face as he tries to recall the term.

“The ladybug or mouse miraculous is what she used in the show,” you answered, figuring you might as well help him remember.

“Right that thing,” Hoofer snaps his fingers in remembrance. “Thanks. I gave him a list of recommendations but he spent his money and the money I left on other crap. He got what he could at the time.”

“I bet my Suki,” Collins says confidently. Suki just continued talking with your Katara, not caring if she was won or lost. Don tsk'ed and folded revealing that he had a pair of sixes.

“I call,” you put a large part of your chips in the pot to match the Suki bet. Don picks the last card and reveals a ten of hearts. You and Collins show your respective cards and you cheer as Collins reveals a pair of kings meaning he had Two Pair while you had a Full House. You gather your winnings, organizing the chips and putting the pass and carriage title away.

“Whoa!” You turn around and see that the ceiling of the room opened above the pens and a Toad on a line came down. He picked up the Temari by wrapping around her from the back and as he was lifted up, he carried her over to your pen. This repeated with the Suki while the other players in the poker night just laughed.

“That never gets olds,” Don chuckled. “The little surprised noise they make.” Your dad gathered the cards and reshuffled them as a new round was getting set up. You order another drink while deciding on the starting bet.
