Tests first.

Creeping through the now nearly fully destroyed STAR labs was eerie to say the least. Between two different sets of giants destruction and Nora’s own particle accelerator jumpstart the building had seen better days.

Still the safety albeit fleeting too much for her to pass up, she didn’t have many places to hide from alien super-powered giants.

The time vault at least spared from the worst of the destruction. Meaning with the hopefully temporary loss of her portal Gideon she could use the one in the time vault.

More importantly she raided the storeroom of the lab, managing to find a STAR labs shirt and pants. While her body mostly fit in her old sizes, her still occasionally lactating breasts were larger. Not massively but enough to be noticeable, especially without a bra.

Luckily it seemed to be the only remnant from her short stint of her more primal state. The feelings and sensations she remembered from that moment made it quite clear if not for this lucky particle mishap she would live up to her XS code-name in a very different way.

The thought alone enough to spur her into figuring out just what caused her to not stay a giant. And to make sure it stayed that way.

So here she was in the Time vault sitting on a chair she dragged in, with a box of speedster protein bars in hand. Slowly mostly picking at the horrible tasting bars as waited for the results to come in from Gideon, the AI subjecting her to a full screen of tests it could run.

Some incredibly risqué.

Still while she waited for the results she spent the last hour alternating between watching the security footage and checking what remained of the buildings still functioning cameras.

It wasn’t too hard of a stretch to imagine the giants would be mad about what happened. She didn’t want to repeat the last disaster.

On the older footage front she’d found the original accidents footage, her dad, mom, aunt Caitlin and Felicity’s the first to be affected and recorded. Giving more insight into what happened and the changes wrought upon them.

Her parents never figured out what happened, I seemed they didn’t even care as what was recorded happened.

“Ms West-Allen?” The AI’s soft voice breaking Nora’s focus, still something about the fracture, the breach seemed off in the footage.

“Yes Gideon?”

“Results are compiled,” the AI chimed quite happily.

“Show me please.”

The holo screen of the footage changed to show Nora’s body, areas highlighted with different tests and their various results.

“DNA meta-human, consistent with previous scan of baseline Nora West-Allen.”

Still me then. The relief alone enough to put her at ease. “What else Gideon?”

“Body shows minor alterations, mainly hair care no lingering effects, the only major change compared to baseline is slight growth to mammary region, along with lactation detected.” The view on hologram Nora focused on her breasts, highlighting the minor size increase.

“I’m aware.” Her nipples seemed to periodically decide to leak or drip milk, something she gave up in caring about once she dripped enough times.

“Remaining signs of unnamed fractured breach particles in body is nonexistent. Further more the new particle you created inside of the particle accelerator to halt the fracture is still active and propagating. In fact your body seems to be producing more every moment, seemingly to cause the lactation,” Gideon said. The hologram showed a mock up of the particle inside of Nora, more importantly her milk.

“Ok, meaning what with this?” The particle, even if it had opposite of what affected the giants was a tad concerning. “What is this particle then?”

“Unknown, further analysis reveals inconsistencies with periodic table, along with impossible physical properties.”

“Of course it does.” Nothing was ever easy.

“Would you like to name the new particle?” Gideon asked, seeing as Nora both created and recreated this particle it only seemed appropriate.

“Ok yes, call it the…XS particle. I need a new name anyway,” Nora said. Okay this is cool, and I do need a new name. Her old code name…seemed tainted, she wasn’t XS anymore, not in body and certainly not in mind. Her former primal part had seen to that.

“Congratulations ms West-Allen, you now hold the discovery and creation of the XS exotic particle in your name.”

“Thank you Gideon, now we need someone to understand what happened to me that’s not me.” While Nora got the general gist of the results she was no Caitlin Snow or geneticist, nor…There’s an idea.
